First time going here and im 100% coming back. A lovely friendly welcome, an incredibly well thought out online ordering system to order at your table, amazing food with incredible service.
Going to restaurants since covid can sometimes be hit and miss on how welcome you can feel at a restaurant with alot being done remotely however with the greeting we recieved and any interaction with staff was as of nothing was any trouble.
The online ordering system is by far the best i have seen from anywhere. Its well laid out easy to navigate and it even lets you remove items from the burgers for all the fussier eaters out there, like myself. Only improvements i could see would be it doesnt show the fact that purchasing 3 tapas items makes it cheaper but with having a physical menu on the table you can see it there. Also some items from the menu werent on there so i could only assume it was sold out. The option for a snack pot asap with a kids meal is a genius idea and will keep the little ones occupied during the short wait for your food.
The food well it was amazing, it came out after what felt like an incredibly short wait. It was all nicely presented and the tapas came out on a board 3 dishes grouped together. Being a fussy eater i had a burger and it was by far one of the best burgers i think ive eaten and like mentioned above the fact i could remove the items i didnt want through the online ordering system it was exactly how i wanted it. My daughter loved her lollipop chicken which had he sold the second she heard the name, and for her to finish the entire meal is a compliment from her.
Ordering drinks was just as easy and it was nice to see the tap water option as many other places dont include this. A varied selection and again brought to your table very promptly.
Now lets talk money, if you want amazing food at a great price this is 100% the place to be. You walk away feeling like you've underpaid with the quality of what you recieved.
With all this being said im already plannkng my next trip back here and i think a huge well done is deserved for everyone involved with...
Read moreWhen we entered we went up to the bar but the staff were busying themselves with their work and didn't say hello. We sat at a table that had been cleared but not cleaned with a lot of crumbs on the table. We used the qr code to order. The app was a frustration as I'm nureodiverse and disabled with mobility issues. It states if you have any allergies you 'must' order at the bar (where we weren't acknowledged). It then kicks you out of the app. So I scanned the qr code again ordered and our drinks were then at the table when I returned from the bathroom which was well kept clean and pleasant enough. The table was still unclean. So when she returned with cutlery I asked if it was possible to have the table wiped. A wet cloth was flicked over whist we moved cutlery and drinks to facilitate. She moved the condements etc so the table was without crumbs but slightly sticky. Luckily this was not a problem as the table remained quite dry for us to play a card game from the shelf. The food was £15 for a bacon burger to which my son said was worth it and the chips were not bad either. The cost started adding up however as drinks are £3.60-£4.75 each from a can of drink and a glass to a milkshake. No decaff option on any of the coffee or teas. If I had declared my allergies there was a disclaimer on the menu card which disclaims any responsibility and cannot guarantee allergy free. So traces may still be present. The brownie also priced at the drinks price was sadly not the best quality I enclose a photo. As I bit into it I hurt my gum and the fork struggled to cut into it as I gave arthritis I had to ask my son to assist. I regretted the decision and would recommend carrot cake as a better alternative and fitting of the £4. Picture shows watermelon iced tea which wasn't available for reordering and the brownie...
Read moreTerrible customer service. Rude self obsessed member of staff. We left before we could order food because of his rude attitude towards talking to customers.
A friend who was with us was trying make a point, after asking how to order, to be responded with abuse, after she mentioned that to that no one was greeting customers, because all the staff just ignored us. Then when we decided we had sit somewhere, it was the wrong. He said there was a sign telling us to wait, but someone had packed it away. Apparently we should hand known that, even though the sign was not there. He shouted “good riddance” when we left too.
I also visited a month earlier for brunch, staff didn’t seem to care for customers, no consideration for health and safety with Covid.
Until this place gets decent manager who can manage their staff better, I will be avoiding it. Personally this member of staff would have faced serious disciplinary actions if I was his boss.
My reply…..
I really was not expecting to be given excuses.
They was 4 of us who all heard the man with coloured hair say “good riddance” Are you accusing us of lying? As regard to being busy, the place was half empty and that’s just no excuse for being polite and friendly.
There was no sign telling us to wait. The level of customer service was disgusting to be honest. I’m sure if you look at the cctv from 1st January you’ll see the poor behaviour from your member of staff.
I will now be contacting the lounge group directly regarding this member of staff. His attitude left a bad taste, that would have meant any food ordered would have...
