We have eaten at the Cafe twice now and both times the food has been delicious; good quality sausage and bacon. Plus the service afforded to us by the staff is O.K. The reason for only giving 3 x Stars is due to the fact that the menu advises that the Big Band breakfast comes with tea/coffee or a glass of squash. On the 2 x times we have eaten there, we have never been offered a tea/coffee or squash with the Big Band breakfast. We have had tea and coffee but these have been added to our bill separately. Another query with regard to the menu is that yesterday, my Wife had a sandwich. The sandwich was meant to come with a small side salad and coleslaw. The sandwich arrived sprinkled with some green stuff (possibly parsley, but I don’t know). The sandwich was delicious, however. We had 3 x Big Band breakfasts on our first visit and 2 x Big Band breakfasts yesterday; no tea/coffee or squash offered at any time. The waitress did not even mention it. We are sorry to post the issues with regard to the items provided and that they do not comply with those advertised on the menu. We did not raise this issue whilst we were there. The Cafe was busy and we did not want to cause any embarrassment. We will certainly be eating there again and, if the above issues are corrected, we will give...

Shocking experience today. Asked for well done bacon. I've asked for well done bacon for years coming to this cafe and they don't seem to understand the concept of well done bacon. Both egg yolks solid. Boiled to death beans. The toast was so dry it was more akin to a cracker! Obnoxiously loud music.

When I pointed out the toast issue they made a huge fuss over it as I was told that they are going to place my opinion somewhere and gestured to something unprofessional whilst they were all laughing. Absolutely shocking behaviour.

How do you get your breakfasts so consistently rubbish. I didn't even get on to mention the bacon, eggs and boiled to death beans because I was made to feel like feedback wasn't welcome.

Will never return here. Belittling horrible staff. How dare you treat someone with such contempt in front of other people when being given honest true feedback. Also glad I left when I did as I'm not too keen on the smell of wet dogs when I'm eating, pretty sure others would agree!

I previously gave this place 5 stars due to the quality of the food, however even 2 stars...

We were in Tewkesbury for a few hours one morning and decided to wander about in the town. There are lots of cafes and eateries but this one stood out to us as it was in a beautiful building and the menu had some classic British choices at reasonable prices.

The cafe itself is set within a stunning historic building with a great layout that makes the most of the characterful features. The ladies running the place were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had a nice window seat on the first floor, which was not too busy so we could enjoy some quiet.

The menu has a great selection, but I was drawn to the Bubble and Squeak, which you rarely see available these days. I'm glad I chose it because it was so tasty. I could have eaten it all over again when I'd finished! My partner went for the staple English breakfast, which was a very generous portion and good quality ingredients.

The coffees were also very tasty, and once we'd finished we paid the bill. The meal was excellent value for money and if we were in Tewkesbury again we wouldn't hesitate...

Went here today, 8/2/24 for breakfast. It was very wet and cold outside but we had a warm welcome from Debbie the owner as we entered. We ordered 2 full English breakfasts, one with poached and one with scrambled eggs. They were both cooked to order and were presented to us steaming hot with 2 cups of gorgeous coffee. An absolutely top quality, tasty breakfast, the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely return in the near future

What a find was down visiting for my birthday and went for brunch, I have never had such an amazing huge thick omelette EVER tasted superb, if I lived here would be a regular for sure. Prices are so good and the lady shared her “ secret recipe” so I can try to make it! Lovely service and great place to go and dog friendly. Photo is when I had nearly finished it for reference.
