Absolutely fabulous, proper old English pub! The landlord and lady were the most welcoming people we could possibly meet. We went in with our Staffy dog, while on a short break in our motorhome at the local campsite, and we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome, they made such a fuss of our dog, and gave her lots of treats and the locals were very friendly too. We were gutted to be leaving the campsite as we’d loved to have stayed longer, especially as we’d found such a super local to go to for a pint. We’ve already booked to go back at Easter and can’t wait to to go back to The Berkeley Arms. (They also took all the correct measures to be as Covid safe...

Horrible experience with the food - non of the vegetarian options on the menu were available. Ordered the veggie pie instead, the chips and peas were straight out of a frozen packet, and the pie contents was mostly mashed potato. Utter rip off for the best part of a tenner on something that was barely edible. Worst still, the woman behind the counter simply could not give a damn. No apologies, totally indifferent. Atrocious attitude. Worse still, I've just discovered this pub has a 1/5 FOOD hygiene rating. Avoid like the plague! (or you may...

Lovely historic pub with great atmosphere, very nice selection of excellent real ales in tip top condition; on the night I went in, they were serving 'mulled wine' which was also very nice too. Very friendly staff and landlord (with good sense of humour) and a 'real fire', not forgetting the pub dog.... excellent!!

Great olde English pub. Good selection of beers (including 6X) and the staff are really friendly. I've only tried the beef Sunday roast but if the rest of the food on the menu tastes as good as that then they've got the grub nailed too! Definitely visit this pub when in Tewkesbury.

We had two visits during our short stay each as good as the other. Wonderful little gem full of genuine charm. Sue the landlady is lovely and my husband said she pours a great Guinness 😁. Our Cockapoo loved it too.
