Bombay Kitchen — Restaurant in Three Rivers

I would give more of a review but unfortunately we didn’t even get to taste the food.

My partner was at home with our 1 year old son and ordered food for us before I was home. We confirmed a few times with the restaurant as I have a nut allergy.

My partner waited at home for the food to arrive. The driven then called and with a rude tone said he would not come up to our flat and he would have to come down to get the food. My partner explained that he couldn’t come down as he had our baby with him. The driver then said that he wasn’t going to and would take the food back to the restaurant and hung up. My partner then called the restaurant and explained and they said they would call the driver.

10 minutes later the driver called back my partner apologised for not being able to come down but again explained that it was just him at home with a baby and we had paid for delivery. He explained to the driver how to get to our building. The driver knocked on the door 5 minutes later and straight away said ‘I’m never delivering food here again’ very rudely and abruptly. My partner had had enough and said he no longer wanted the food after being spoken to like this by him multiple times. The driven then tried to push our front door open. This is very concerning. We have a baby at home and to be confronted by such an aggressive delivery driven when simply ordering food is very worrying.

I urge others to not order here simply for the fact of their safety and wellbeing. This man now knows our address and was clearly very angry.

Surprising to see some negative reviews here regarding taste & authenticity. I’d question those reviews, frankly, because this place is outstanding in my opinion, and as a true lover and cook of all regional Indian and Bangladeshi food - Aroma Lounge do a great job at a fair price.
