PAYA Cuisine (Rickmansworth) — Restaurant in Three Rivers

Absolute scam artists. Used to really enjoy ordering from here, have ordered over a dozen times, but now they are incapable of getting an order on time any more.

I understand that places get busy but putting unrealistic times on Just-Eat and then instead of setting the food as out for delivery or still cooking, they just pretend it's already delivered. 25-45 minute estimate, 2 hours later and apparently the driver left 40 minutes ago, we're an 8 minute drive away.

Not to mention, the portion sizes have nearly halved for certain dishes with no decrease in price. Don't waste your time or your money.

Edit: Food has arrived, they've sent the wrong noodles, the "spicy" nasi goreng is bland, to all who tasted it & the quality of the meat on the ribs is...

I gave Paya 2 weeks to solve my issue before publishing this review. They ignored me…

I waited almost 2 hours for my delivery (I was told it would be 40 minutes). Then when it arrived there were 2 items missing, one of them meant I couldn’t then eat my main as the main component was missing, so essentially, 3 meals missing and I paid over £50. I called up to ask if the missing items could be sent out to me but the person I spoke with told me they didn’t have a spare driver. They did say they would refund 3 main meals for me so whilst i would rather have had the food, it was a good gesture. However the refund never came. I reminded them twice and gave them two weeks to sort this but they have ignored...

Have to be honest, it's not great. I tried the pad Thai noodles with chicken, and the vegetable spring rolls.

I'm fairly sure the spring rolls were Iceland or similar. Tiny things and not very pleasant. The sweet chilli dip was watered down and so runny it had to be sipped as it didn't stick to the spring rolls.

The pad Thai was more like a thick gloopy mess. A mixture of thick and thin noodles, some not cooked leading to hard lumps throughout. The chicken was actually quite nice, thinly sliced and tasty. But then some actual whole peanuts just thrown on the top killed it for me. I ate about 1/4 and...
