We were disappointed with our experience at Nancy's Tea Rooms due to poor service and a sterile environment. The lady serving us gave the impression we were an inconvenience. We ordered coffee and cake, but unfortunately the coffees the spilt on their way to us. The server grinned and did not acknowledge this at all, so we had almost half filled drinks with the rest in the saucer. The cakes were fairly basic and slightly stale. They made up our daughter her own afternoon tea which was lovely but the price of a shared afternoon tea and our toddlers was £59? This seems very expensive given that the scones were bought in.
