A Perfect Evening Adventure for All Ages!

Our family adventure at Timescape Belfast was truly a highlight of our weekend trip to the city! On the evening of Friday, August 22nd, 2025, we eagerly made our way to the Titanic-themed escape room, and from start to finish, the experience was seamless and engaging for every one of us—including our 13-year-old son, who was captivated throughout.

We arrived a little ahead of schedule, and the staff were fantastic in accommodating us, allowing us to begin our escape room experience early. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for an evening of excitement and hospitality. The Titanic room itself was incredibly immersive, with clever puzzles and an atmospheric setting that transported us all straight into the heart of the ship’s fateful journey. Each challenge was thoughtfully designed, requiring teamwork and creativity, which made it the perfect bonding activity for our family.

A special mention must go to our amazing game master, Jane. She was absolutely on-point—attentive, friendly, and brilliantly supportive. Jane managed the perfect balance of letting us puzzle through the challenges on our own, while also knowing exactly when to step in with a helpful nudge. We only needed two clues during the entire adventure, and each was delivered at just the right moment to keep the excitement and momentum going.

One of the highlights was the engagement level for every member of our group. Our teenager was just as involved and enthusiastic as the adults, thanks to the variety and creativity of the puzzles. The satisfaction of escaping the room with more than 20 minutes to spare was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening!

Timescape Belfast exceeded all our expectations, and the Titanic escape room is a must-do for families seeking fun, teamwork, and a touch of history. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Belfast to tackle the other rooms—if our first experience is anything to go by, we're in for even more...

We visited Timescape Belfast yesterday for my birthday, as a family of six (2 adults and 4 children aged 8–10), and honestly – it was absolutely brilliant!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. A special shout-out to Ray, our gamemaster, who was just fantastic – enthusiastic, friendly, and great with the kids. She really added to the magic of the whole experience.

We played the Rivermouth Academy of Magic room, and it was like stepping into another world. Hidden beneath the bustling streets of Belfast, we discovered a secret passageway that led us into a world of witchcraft, wizardry, and enchanting challenges. The atmosphere, puzzles, and immersive storyline had the kids (and the grown-ups!) totally captivated from start to finish.

The game was cleverly designed to suit all ages – our kids were fully involved, buzzing with excitement at every clue solved and every magical moment uncovered.

This was such a unique and memorable way to celebrate a birthday, and we can’t recommend Timescape enough. We’ll definitely be back to try...

I don’t normally write reviews but I went here with my boyfriend for a date and it was one of the most fun experiences ever.

Dan was our team leader and was so funny and helpful the entire time, as well as all the other staff I spoke too. We did the Jack the Ripper room and didn’t end up passing but I will 10000% be coming back to try another one again with more people because they are the nicest people ever and it is the most fun I’ve had on a day out.

I had accidentally booked for 3 people and they were so helpful with sorting everything out and so understanding the entire time.

On the way up I also ended up being late because of an accident on the road, but they had helped me reschedule for another room that day, which was such a lifesaver for the travelling I had did for it.

Everyone I spoke to had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced and were just so incredibly polite and friendly even with the inconvenience I caused them, I couldn’t be more grateful and recommend this place...

My partner and I booked the haunted mansion quite last minute and what an experience! We had some tech difficulties with the website initially but after calling the team had it sorted out asap. We arrived and were met with a friendly face, Michael. He honestly made the experience! We’ve done a few different escape rooms now across Belfast and I have to say this is the best one. The room itself is challenging but we never felt lost as we had Michael being attentive the whole time and helping out where asked. There a lots of aspects of the room that are unique and unexpected, very cool! The live elements definitely kept us on edge and Michael is a credit to the team, such a lovely guy! Can definitely say we’ll be back to try out the others.

Did both Jack the Ripper and Titanic over two days as a team of of two. Both good, immersive rooms with logical puzzles and a definite scare factor for Jack the Ripper. Special mention to the games masters here who are amongst the best we’ve ever come across (having done around 50 rooms across Europe). Cat and Sarah gave good intros and keen to understand how and when we wanted our hints. Really considerate as this can often be a let down in other rooms. All in all a good way to spend a couple of hours in Belfast!
