Not very often leaving neutral review, most of the time I like place/food or i don't like place/food. I think this is the instance. It was my personal experience and it might be different to another customers. The flavors of the food is amazing, I have to admit. Combination of spices really good. Spicey food still have flavors and you can taste food itself, I really like that in Indian restaurants. However, I cannot justify £11.95 for Chilli Fried Squid which was bought frozen. The squid rings were cooked from frozen coated with very nice chilli sauce. You can pick up same frozen squid from Iceland for £3 pound a bag. Next was Lamb shank disappointment it tasted nice but it was definitely undercooked. I cut the meat from the bone thinking the bone going to jump from my plate, lamb shank was not tender at all. Cauliflower 65 was overcooked and mushy. But my main issue was service. The re is no attention to the customers. Servers just coming to your table taking your order and putting it to the till. Runners then bringing all the food from from the kitchen. It was so many staff on the floor but it was "no service" provided if that makes sense. First lady who served us shouldn't work in serving people or need go thru serious hospitality training. Clark at McDonald's till has more hospitality skills than her. Another lady who attended our table to collect used dishes asked if we finished with chutney tray and I reply yes we did, turned around started to walk towards kitchen without picking it up. At first I thought she didn't hear my reply or misunderstood it, so I repeated yes we did finish with the tray chutney, she still carry on to the kitchen. The whole dinning experience was very strange in my opinion.

Me and my husband not lived in urmston long, thought we would give this restaurant a try, all the staff are absolutely amazing, our main server was called bhargaui she was so helpful and polite, ensured all are empties was collected and not left on the table, also made sure our drinks was topped up all time, the food was absolutely delicious not just saying it, it was hands down the best curry i have ever eaten, I ordered butter chicken masala with lemon rice and my husband ordered tandoori grill both meals were exceptional had no complaints, after our meal we sat at the bar for abit as I wanted to try a mojito which was made by Adam, it was sooooo tasty went down a treat, we got talking to the owner who informed us there was a food festival over the weekend and was giving us some local knowledge of the area as we are new to Urmston very very helpful, made our night coming to Sai Surbhi 100% will be our regular place, would advise anybody to come and eat here or even sit t bar and have a drink made us feel at home and very welcome, thank you sai surbia for an amzing evening ! 😊

i visited last night with my wife. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service was warm and welcoming. The starters we ordered were the lamb chops and the onion bhaji. The lamb chops were sensational, but the onion bhajis were a little bit claggy. For mains, we ordered the paneer butter chicken and the chicken madras, with garlic and peshwari naans. My wife specifically asked for no coriander on hers as she doesn’t like it. Unfortunately, when her dish arrived, it contained lots of coriander. The chicken madras was lovely and not oily. There was no coriander on mine, so I wonder if there was a mistake made in the kitchen or by the server. We didn’t want to complain and have the kitchen make another as we were tired and wanted to get back home. The service and ambience were brilliant, but the food for reasons stated above was an unfortunate mixture of good to disappointing.

The place looks lovely nicely designed but don't let this decive you we went to a birthday celebration which ended in disaster the poppadoms wernt the best came out acceptable time not quick though and the starters were slow enough but good now when i went in I was a young lad by the time my main came out I was already a pensioner it took 2 hours for the food to come out and I think they did it on purpose because they were quick enough with the drinks delaying the food for the increase in the drinks bill and while we were waiting sitting down waiting some well, going to keep it pg clean nice man came up and said are you waiting for youre take away this was Micky take and somebody else coming and saying you want anymore drinks, but some people with a table of around about 12 people that came in after us got their poppadoms, starter and main before us while the staff says we're short on People and they kept on saying 5 minutes 5 minutes around about ever time we ask now at this point I miss the cold breeze of the wind hitting my face and the nice warm sunrrays shining on me so not kidding as we were about to leave to pay for what we eaten the Messiah my saviour the man I waited for my entire life comes w the food and I think this is proof the that they were messing around with us they pleed with us to stay laying the food on the table and tried to get us to sit down and get the other people that left probably perished outside in the cold british winter and were saying we're leaving and the waiters were pleeding to bag the food up and hinting us to pay it and we just left went to an Indian takeaway and finally looking at food I can eat

Ps cannabalism was going...

We went on Saturday evening 7.15. Arrived about 10 past 7, went in waited at reception. They was nobody there, we waited about 3 mins or so. When somebody came over, they were welcoming and smiling. They gave us the menus to look at, we ordered drinks and looked through the menu. 15 mins later and still no body had come to take our order. I was looking around for a waiter, but no one to be seen. After trying to catch. Someone's eye for another 7 mins someone saw me waving and came over. He apologises and said he was told our order had been taken. Our drinks came and our poppadoms came. They were light and tasty. A bit later our meals came and they smelled and looked fine. Even though the waiter got our orders mixed up??? It tasted good, large pieces of well cooked chicken in a great spicy sauce. My good lady said hers was sweet and spicy and was well cooked. We chatted about our meal and the ambience of the place Finished our meal and nobody came over and asked us how our meals was, did we want another drink ect. We then had to wait 1p mins before we got a waiter over to ask for the bill. There was Indian music playing and it sounded good, but it was way to low. So you were sat listening to everyone chattering on. No atmospher at all. The aircon kept coming on making us both fell cold. So with many other curry places to visit we won't be going back. So a return to Adrax is on the cards. Would we recommend this place the answer is...
