Despite opening early, the younger attendants often seem preoccupied with personal conversations, which can detract from the business. It might be due to their youth and mixed-gender dynamics. However, the older attendant is very warm and professional, which is a redeeming quality.

AVOID AVOID AVOID I give you 1 star because there is no 0. Arrogant staff refuses to take orders. If you are lucky and someone is willing to take an order, then be prepared for a 30-40 minute wait for a latte. The tables are not cleaned. You walk down the street and say to yourself: what a beautiful looking cafe. It is not crowded with a very pleasant atmosphere. This is the only good part of this place. Аlmost empty store No queue and the staff pretends not to see you trying to avoid orders. They say: we are very busy The only way to order is to show the staff that you are not going to leave. After 30 minutes of waiting the food was stone cold. When asked if this is normal behavior the answer is we are busy ???? Now I understand why this beautiful shop is not visited by anyone. There is a very good cafe just opposite this. or Costa up the street....

For three times now I have attempted to have a coffee/cake etc, I have had to leave as there were no available tables. Whilst this is great for the Black Sheep, a lot of the tables were occupied by youngsters on their laptops. Not eating or drinking. I have managed a few times to have coffee there, and it was delicious. Last Monday 26th May was the last time that I attempted to find a table. This was about 11am. We went elsewhere and as we passed on the way home, the same young man was sitting by the window on his own, and not a drink in site. This was about 1 o’clock. Another couple was behind us and they shrugged their shoulders and left when we did. Not sure what can be done, but you must be losing a lot...
