Fuggles Beer Cafe - Craft Beer Pub & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

This place is awesome!!! Sadly I didn’t try the food as a friend and I stopped off for the afternoon just for a few drinks, but I’ll say I absolutely love it here. The selection here is incredible, not only have they got all of your favourite items from around the world but they also showcase the best of local and national British brewers as well, and price them very fairly in comparison to other similar places. The decor is great, reminds me of an old saloon- nice and homely without being pretentious, as well as the seating being really comfortable to sit back and relax.

Best of all, the staff are fantastic here! Very patient and cheerful, and are super knowledgable with their range- able to recommend you a perfect drink based on what your tastes are. Alex and Charlie were great hosts, made us feel very welcome and left us wanting to come back again very soon, and were introduced to some amazing beers that we may never have known before. If you want a great bar that you can slurp down quality brews in comfort, make this your local!

Throughout the last 6 months Fuggles has been a perfect example of how to run a small business during such a monumental challenge. Regular and honest communication with customers. Empathetic and practical support for the teams. Redesign of the bars so that when they could reopen, they managed to create a compliant but still wonderfully atmospheric environment. At a time when so much in life is distorted, every visit here is a refreshing reminder of how much can be achieved with passion and purpose. A shining beacon of first-class customer service, leadership integrity and the finest beers in the land. Long may the loyal customers support this...

After a long all-day walk in the Kent countryside we couldn't wait to arrive at Fuggles for some much needed liquid refreshments, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Having recently read that it had just been named the 2017 CAMRA West Kent Pub of the Year I was keen to try a few of the beers, and their range was excellent. They have about 20 beers and ciders on tap and loads more bottles to choose from as well. Very good staff, dog friendly, and overall an excellent pit-stop for a few hours to rest ones weary feet.
