KFC Tunbridge Wells - Grosvenor Road — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

First and last time coming here. Rude staff, inedible salty fries, dirty surroundings..... I asked politely when my order would be done as had been waiting for the woman to snap at me saying I'm doing it. The order for 2 main meals was incorrect and had to be amended and for the 2 kids meals she did the ice cream same time. In all the times I've eaten kfc I've always been able to go back up to get it after eating. When I again politely said no to the ice cream ill come back for fresh ones as will melt she looked at me unhappily, whispered to her colleague and then said OK. After we ate and I went back I asked the male employee for them. He then whispered to the original lady who turned and looked at me. She got 2 fresh ice creams and put them on the counter and walked off with out saying a word. Sorry but manner don't cost. Absolutely shocking service. And perhaps they need to lay off thr chips seasoning. Rank and unable to eat and not worth the £30 spent. Never again will I venture to...

I am fed up with KFC. The only thing there worth your time is the original chicken. You used to be able to request the cut you got, and the only one worth the time of day is thigh piece. These days there are 3 big issues: The self order kiosks don't let you preference the type of chicken you get There is never an operative manning the in-person order station The operatives themselves don't know what chicken they serve and cannot tell a thigh piece from a wing! I order 3 pieces of original chicken and I get 1 side breast, 1 boneless piece of breast (wrong) and 1 wing (very wrong) This level of incompetence and inability to deliver a very simple menu is inexcusable and this establishment deserves to get shut down. Edit: in addition to the previously mentioned problems, I've seen them lock their doors a full 20mins before their advertised closing time, the lazy staff can't even be bothered to actually work their shift time, it must be nice to get paid for hours...

Turned up at 20:10 today. Touchscreen options difficult to work out so had to ring my son for guidance. Order made at 20:14, but should’ve been easier as we knew what we’d wanted in advance but couldn’t fathom the Box Meal; further box meal - finally find Trilogy Box Meal scenario.

Husband waited on Double Yellows thinking it would be 5/10/15 minutes and he could drive round the block if needed to.

Eventually genuinely, we received our meal at 20:35, some 25 minutes after our initial arrival.

We visited a month ago and found the service to be slow, but today was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a fast food place with no parking nearby.

As for the fillet burgers, nothing like we’ve had in Ashford and other local places, very flattened and dry fillets, potentially in our opinion half the size of a full fillet, or have the chickens been squashed by a steam-roller?

Sorry to say, the only plus is we haven’t got food...
