Quality of food and price do not speak to each other. Jazz night set menu is £29.95 + an extra £4.95 if you want to add three prawns to your curry. Don’t mind paying extra for the Jazz as it was the only thing that saved our evening. But don’t like being charged for or thrice. Considering we had to pay £5 each to be allowed to our dinner reservation I didn’t find it appropriate for the prices to be so inflated. Food was calories and very little flavour. Service was personal but disjointed. Was charged incorrectly. Asked for the price to be rectified twice before it finally was. Won’t be back. Save your money.

I wish I’d seen the reviews before booking. We thought it would be nice to join the pantiles jazz evening (which was nice) but the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The positives: the portions were ok, the staff were friendly enough, the negatives: awful quality food, very very overpriced, horrible crockery, seats and tables, tried to charge an extra £3 for ice in a drink. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Kirthon is an excellent Indian restaurant. I had quite the variety of excellent homemade dishes including chicken tikka kaju gobi which was cheesy cauliflower. I also have the best nan I have ever had. the dishes were hot and fresh and I sat on a nice patio enjoying Tunbridge wells. My server was excellent and he helped me pick out great choices. If you go there ask for Sufi to be your server.

This was our second choice for a meal out as the restaurant across the road (Masala) was full and could only seat people after 9pm on this Thursday evening. So we walked up the stairs of the Pantiles and into Kirthon where Service was fast, BUT! After ordering, the food came to the table within 15min however I this was not well received as most if not all the dishes including sides were undercooked. This left a bitter taste in our mouths which had to be dampened down with two pints of king fisher beer. This left our party wandering is the fast service companied by undercooked food just a business strategy to get customers to buy more alcohol. I like having interactions with waiters/ managers/ owners in restaurants but kirthon should skill their waiters on what to say and what not to say, as a member of stuff was borderline rude and awkward in...

This is an over-priced Curry establishment for its quality. I ordered the Chicken Banjara Tikka Massala (£11.50), and although it was appropriately spicy, it didn't have the sweetness of its Tikka Massala base. The Bombay Aloo (£5.50) was less flavoursome than I usually expect also. In addition to this, the Chutney, which cost £1, did not come with lime pickle, although this may be excused by the fact there was an alternative to the Chutney called Mixed Pickle.

The minimum cost for a soft drink, bar tap water, was £3.50. Furthermore, the service charge was 12.50%, and not mentioned on the menu.

On a positive note I would say the service was very good. Also, when I disputed the bill, over the service charge, they were generous in...

Went there last night 16/6/22 for the Jazz on the Pantiles. They’ve done a set menu at £33 per person. You get a starter, and a main, with two sides for this price. I’ve just looked at their regular menu, and for what i had it would normally cost around £21 so they’ve inflated the price by £12 per person! Given that you pay £5 to watch the Jazz anyway, there seems to be no justification for this, other than blatant profiteering. Really not on in these times of high inflation. Will not be going again. Food was very average, for such a high price. They didn’t even post the Jazz on the Pantiles night set menu on their website, so you don’t know until you get there, how much it’s going to cost. Underhand, and...
