The Ragged Trousers — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

Every time my friends and I visit they never seem to get the food service quite right. There was a leaflet on the table and a huge specials board ( seemingly not available in the evening) the leaflet was advertising a burger company but these could only be ordered online and not in the restaurant itself. The seating was pitiful aswell and I thought for the prices they were asking it could have tried much harder. I think it'd be good for lunch trade but fear the pantiles customer is looking for something...

Great spot in the Pantiles Tunbridge Wells. If you enjoy ales, then you are in luck. What I liked is how the bar staff are knowledgeable about the different ales and give recommendations. As for seating etc, there are inside and outside options. Great place for a quiet lunch time drink and a lovely place to drink during the evening and weekends. I've not tried the food yet, but from the dishes coming out, it looks and smells...

We were hoping to eat here, but sadly the kitchen was closed (maybe Covid staffing issues, or maybe because it was a Sunday evening). The menu looked delicious! However, the lovely lady at the bar said that we could order a delivery burger to eat outside – which we did, and so we can also thoroughly recommend Roddy Burger! Really great service here, and we'd love to come back and eat next time we're in...
