Burger King — Restaurant in Wakefield

We called tonight at the burger King trinity walk with my grandchild. Placed our order and paid for it, then to be told while we was waiting for our order to be made that we couldn't sit in. It was only 7.10 and the place said it was open till 8 pm. I understand them closing certain areas off to the public, but not allowing us to sit in was a joke. There was no notices up stating that we couldn't sit in from 7 pm. The manager there wasn't very helpful and stated that it was there ruling and then the girl behind the counter said they were short staffed. I work in catering and there is no way we would treat our customers like this. 2 families came in after us and walked out when I explained to them that we weren't allowed to sit in. One family had come from Rotherham to Wakefield with a disabled lady in a wheelchair. As you can imagine. Went away very disappointed. Wakefield is struggling as it is to get people to visit and I'm sure they won't be calling back any time soon. We ended up taking our food outside, sat at a table and then the manager came out and started to dismantle the furniture. Quite intimidating really, so we got up and brought our food home. Yes. Ordered probably 8 times from here and out of those 8 times 4 of which have had items missing... but you see burger king has this system where you order on there app they arrange uber and then you can't contact anyone.... you go to the website it says oh no sorry please contact uber 🤔 now I'm not sure who they employ to bag up in there but they probably need some training... also why would I contact uber? I didnt order through uber i ordered through burger king you arrange transport and how is it ubers fault when the bags are sealed by your employees.... first time ordered 2 kids meals got no drinks with it. 2nd time ordered 1 kids meal milkshake and adult burger not sure what it was but got that anyway missing milkshake.3rd time missing milkshake 4th time which is today 2 kids meals didnt revieve fries but recieved haloumi fries which I had paid for as extra so I'm assuming someone looked and went ohhh fries...

Prices at Burger King are in line with other locations, and the food maintains the expected quality and taste. Fries surprisingly seem better than other Burger King restaurants.
