We don’t go out to eat very often, but when we do we like to find little gems in a sea of chain restaurants. It is safe to say that this restaurant is phenomenal! We had a lovely experience with service, the food, and the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and decorated modestly but in a way that you knew it was loved and cherished. The food from what we could tell was prepared by one person in the kitchen, and front of house was all by one person as well. The food, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Gorgeous Mediterranean cuisine prepared by people who are clearly passionate and knowledgeable of their culture, it’s what makes eating at places like this so special. For 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 drinks and 2 desserts, it came to a total of £70 which if you ask me is absolutely insane value for money! But honestly don’t just take my word for it, please go!!!!

I went here for lunch. I ordered vegetarian pide but the oven wasn't hot enough:( This left a limited choice for me being vegetarian. They gave me the mezze without meat and replaced with other items suitable for vegetarians which was really nice. I'd go back again but wouldn't rush back though.

Extremely friendly staff and good food. With it been the first time we had tried this restaurant we decided to go with the meze set meal with the hot starter. You get absolutely loads of food for the price and the baklava is amazing. We will deffinatly be visiting again

Visited 26/03/22. Table for 7.30pm for 2. Ordered starters (Halloumi for myself, my wife had falafel starter). Took a considerable amount of time to arrive...restaurant wasn't that busy.

Initially received the wrong food but was corrected but the starters were nothing to write home about.

We ordered 2 glasses of Pinot.....no one came to us and asked how the food was or if we'd like another drink.

For mains we ordered Vegetarian kebab dishes. Having an allergy to mushrooms I specified this to the waiter(who I presumed was the owner). Bearing in mind we arrived at 7.30pm the mains took til 9pm to be served which was poor. Staff wise there were 2 front of house staff & 1 chef which for a Saturday evening caused all the problems in my opinion. To have one person cooking all the food is not good business sense.

The dishes were not what we ordered and checking, there were mushrooms in the dish which, if eaten would have been a lovely trip to A&E on a Saturday night for me with admission to a ward for a few days.

We politely told the server the issues of the wrong dish & the health risk. We paid for what we'd already eaten and left.

Overall a substandard service. I booked because of the 5 star Google reviews but our experience was well off that mark. If I could put zero stars I would.

There are a lot better places in Wakefield you could visit for dinner.....this establishment I certainly would...

We went on a Saturday late afternoon without any booking prior to it. It wasn't crowded at this time, which did make us wary. Mind you we were a group of 7, we were still able to get a table.

The front of house staff is excellent. Very polite and professional. We forgot to ask his name.. but thank you!

The dishes were all reasonably priced and so were the portion sizes. The falafel was slightly disappointing, as it appeared to have been refried/reheated. But for this, we had a lovely meal.

The baklava was fantastic but didn't need the big dollop of ice cream next to it...it was perfect one it's own.

Overall,...
