KFC Pontefract - Cornmarket — Restaurant in Wakefield

Health and safety and HR teams of KFC and council urgently need to look into this branch especially one particular staff member a tall young stocky lad who was manning the fryers. Yesterday ordered 3 tower burger meals and some chicken wings. The young ladies at the counter were polite and working as fast as they can and took my order and told me I will have to wait a few minutes for the chicken wings. There were several delivery drivers waiting to collect. Then the lady at the counter while going to check on the lad at the fryers noticed he had set temperatures 60c lower than required. She told him off immediately but he didn't seem bothered about it at all and didn't bat an eye lid and she then told him you will give someone food poisoning, he still didn't seem to care, the young small lady who told him off then adjusted the settings. Hopefully I didn't get the food already cooked by the lad. God knows how many customers that day got the inadequately cooked food by him that day before this unsafe behaviour was noticed by the other small young lady at the counter. Hopefully KFC gets rid of unsafe workers before they end up killing customers with their unsafe behaviour. Kudos to the young lady who spotted the unsafe behaviour of the lad and took corrective action. Was feeling a bit queasy about eating the chicken wings or to throw them away. The burgers were fine. Hope KFC gets rid of unsafe idiots like the lad who just didn't care about health and safety and was cooking the chicken 60c below the recommended temp. Being young is no excuse for unsafe attitude of the lad which can kill customers with food poisoning. Hope KFC gets its act together and looks into this lad before he harms customers with his unsafe cooking at this branch. 60c below recommended cooking temp is just ridiculous unsafe. It happened around 1825 to 1830 yesterday evening for you to track staff. I sent you an email about how poorly your Pontefract restaurant treats delivery drivers, making them wait over 25mins in the rain, only to be told "if you don't like it, take it up with Just Eat/Deliveroo"... I got a copy and pasted response from you! In case you've forgotten, without delivery drivers, you wouldn't have had anywhere near the business you had during lockdown. JE/UE/Deliveroo customers are YOUR customers too and we have to face your customers after your shockingly slow service. For many drivers, this is their only source of income and waiting all that time limits the number of orders they can do. Drivers don't complain for fear of being struck off by KFC and the delivery platforms. If your Pontefract restaurant can't cope with the level of orders, turn off the apps until business is back to a manageable level. Very disappointing that the branch has not apologised or acknowledged the problem and disappointing that your Care Team hasn't looked into this. Absolutely shocking, was stood 5+ minutes waiting to get my order taken while the staff walked by me multiple times, ive then ordered on the kiosk and waited for him to take my payment as it was cash hes then walked by me multiple times again while ive been waiting and was complaining saying i dont know how you work here to other staff, walked by me again and then asked are you okay i said yeah im waiting for you taking my payment, he then acted like he knew nothing about it took my order, threw it on side with the box open when i ordered it takeaway then when i asked for a bag he ignored me, i asked again and he also made out like he knew nothing of it being takeaway then either, this is absolutely ridiculous i was waiting 15 minutes for a snack box, the receipt said delayed order and the food was cold anyways and half empty because he put my gravy inside the tiny box as it is wont be...
