MY wife made a face as we entered. The decor was a little...faded, looking about 20 years old. The molding halfway up the walls had a thin layer of dust, although everywhere else looked clean. The place looked as if it was struggling for customers. Even on a Wednesday night, surely they should have more than the lone couple we passed on the way in? Not wanting to go looking for another place to have dinner, we decided to chance it. I had a steak in sizzling sauce calling Weeping Tiger, and wifey had a starter of prawns tempura, and the special fried rice, with chicken and pork. She was very surprised how good the starter was, as was the pina colada she later ordered. When the Weeping Tiger came, sizzling in a cast-iron dish, I was intruiged. It tasted fantastic, complete with sauteed mixed vegetables and sticky rice. Very friendly and helpful guy finding tables for customers, taking orders, bringing drinks, bringing food, clearing tables away, taking payments and keeping all customers happy! Everyone else must have been in the kitchen making the delicious food!
We had reserved a table for two and when we arrived it was quite full downstairs. Our orders were taken quickly and our sharing platter starter arrived quickly and presented beautifully, along with a pickle tray with various sauces.
I ordered the beef massaman curry, i am not familiar with Thai food other than the red and green curries, so wasnt sure what to expect. When it arrived there was lots to eat, plenty of lovely vegetables in it and slices of beef. Pretty much a sunday roast in curry form! It was lovely!
The toilets are upstairs and there is also an upstairs eating area but this was closed off.

Fab chicken pad Thai!! Abs delish. Spicey, fabulously cooked noodles which are light and not stodgy in anyway.
Authentic Thai cuisine. Expensive but again worth every penny! Great place to take your date / friends to. Restaurant is amazing, love the feel and the staff are amazing - friendly , helpful and will always advise you on the dishes if you are ever unsure.
