Vegetarians be warned. I went for a birthday and as a vegetarian, requested a vegetarian brunch. They said this was no problem. Received the food and asked a few meat eaters at my table if something on my plate was prawn toast and they all said it couldnāt be as itās the vegetarian brunch. Despite my better judgement, I ate it and thought it tasted off. Spat it out and asked a member of staff to confirm whether it was prawn toast or not. They came back apologising that it was in fact prawn toast on the vegetarian brunch. I walked out to get some air as it had made me feel quite sick as as vegetarian of 14 years. The manager chased me out asking if I was allergic. I wasnāt. That isnāt the point. She said they put prawn toast on all vegetarian brunchās ācause itās not like itās meatā. I was given a full refund but asked to pay for the rest of my drinks whilst the rest of my party finished up all their drinks included in the brunch for the next 40 minutes. Itās illegal and a health and safety issue what you are doing. At least learn and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDiscovered during a spontaneous night out at 11 pm, this pub proved to be a hidden gem. The drinks, with a good selection of beer and tasty cocktails, are reasonably priced, enhancing the overall experience.
What truly sets this place apart is the games room upstairs, featuring late opening hours. It offers an array of entertainment, including Beer Pong, Darts, and Pool, complemented by a dedicated bar. The uniqueness of the games room adds an extra layer of fun to the pub.
The decor is pleasing, the pub is well-maintained and tidy, including the bathroom. The choice of music further contributes to the enjoyable atmosphere.
However, the staff's consistency is a bit of a mixed bag. The games room staff consistently provide great service, but the downstairs bar staff can be hit or miss, affecting the overall experience.
In conclusion, Tooth and Tiger is a distinctive and fun pub, showcasing a variety of positive aspects. The games room, in particular, adds a unique touch to the overall experience, and I would recommend going...
Ā Ā Ā Read more8 of us came here for bottomless brunch for a 30th- started great, but on the 3rd round of drinks the (very lovely) waitress accidentally knocked the drinks over the food and clothes of the birthday girl, the waitress took away the food and didn't bring any back in the end, which we were obviously waiting for- on recieving the bill, we were told the waitress hadn't mentioned of any incidents and so we're charged the full amount.
Another waiter spoke to the management and they offered another round of drinks as compensation for the incident- not really the principle considering 2 of us hadn't eaten anything! Overall a bit disappointing management wise- but nice food and drinks for the rest of us.
Alfie was great! Even went back to management multiple times to see if they could offer anything else but...
