Shocking service. We booked a table at half 3 and yes it was busy as it was Easter Sunday. The waitress wasn't ready to take our order so was waiting 10 minutes. Fair enough. We both ordered the 3 meats Sunday lunch. About 15 minutes later the food arrived and we were tucking in and it was nice but was half way through when I realised I didn't have any beef and my partner didn't have any turkey. No problem we swapped some around. We then heard another couple complaining about their meal and in turns out we had been given theirs. OK mistakes happen. They came and cleared the plates away and we explained you gave us the wrong meal but it was all OK. We sat there for 20 minutes hoping to order some pudding when a girl put a reserved at 5pm sign on our table. I said excuse me we've not been asked if we would like pudding yet. She went away and came back 2 seconds later to say we had been asked which was a latent lie. We were told if we wanted pudding we would have to move tables into the next room. I was starting to get annoyed by this point, and said I didn't want move tables and was told it's a private event coming in and I said I wasn't bothered by that either. We decided we had had enough paid the bill and left. No apologies and actually for the inconvenience caused by them we should at the least been offered a free pudding. No intention of going there again and they need to sort their staff out with proper training or stop overbooking...

Visited our local pub ,been many times before and thoroughly enjoyed! Subdsy lunch and brekkie brilliant !! Heard meals had gone down hill ! But gave it a go and took friends , booked for 6.00 ,Saturday . Yes Saturday is busy, but couldn't talk for the way too loud music piped music ! , people were having to shout above the music to talk ! Meal arrived, the seasonal vegetables were tasteless frozen mixed veg, the beef brisket was a miniscule amount and absolutely tasteless, no seasoning at all! Had seen this arrive nxt to us but didn't notice the veg, the brisket sat on a mountain of mash , asked for mine reducing and extra veg to replace which they did and was a nicely cooked portion of fresh cabbage, The mixed grill , was accompanied by a very watery garlic and mushroom sauce, but tasty, how do you put this on a board ?? Asked for a plate, and steak, quite tough! Asked the choices for gluten free pudding for an adult !!! Ice cream !! That's just so lazy , so none of us had a dessert out of protest! . So many gluten free choices to buy in ! Can't blame cost of living crisis, as frozen veg is more expensive . Sadly very disappointing. The singer was flat , and wrecked every song he played and again way too loud while we were trying to have a meal. !! Left very early . Very expensive for what we had. Not value for money except the burger & chips which is why I gave a 2...

Lovely hidden gem is this place and the cheese cake is beautiful we just called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch it didn't disapoint!!! It was quiet but was midday. I'd like to visit on a weekend night and try it. The Atmosphere was very welcoming and lovely made to feel relaxed . Sometimes when you walk in somewhere and your not a familiar person some people make you feel awkward or you just feel awkward we didn't feel like that at all it was nice vibes. There's a really cute outdoor bar area and seating it's very nice and cosy with lovely decor chilled lighting. I will be definitely going again. They offer coffee and homemade cakes said the lady or iced coffee if you didn't want a alcoholic drink. They offer brunches. Quiz nights. Live music. They take bookings for occasions events birthdays. When I revisit I will add some more pictures of the venue. I will definitely be going back lovely place its not what it looks like from the outside it's very deceiving. Very nice Lovely...
