Have been coming here every week for ages! Sadly, today will be the last, they seem to have gone from an award winning fish & chip shop to a tinpot one. Calling ahead with your order in advance is an absolute waste of time as they only start cooking it when you get there and when you do get there you’re stood waiting outside for ages due to the mass amount of delivery drivers stood inside waiting for just eat/ uber eats orders and when you do manage to get to the till you’re ignored whilst they prioritise just eat/ uber eats orders, when they do take your order they will stop you half way to again prioritise online placed orders. Good customer service here is non existent! Food takes forever to be cooked and when you get home find you have both poorly cooked food - soggy, not very warm and VERY GREASY!! and the portions have been very small recently! I’ll be going to the Wetherby Whaler from now on! 👍🏻
