Clifton Hotel — Restaurant in Wales

Nicola Dearden here on my sons account to review as I’ve been to the Clifton quite a few times but can honestly say under new management it’s a huge difference, cleaner, very friendly landlord kerry and her staff are the most welcoming. They went out of our way to look after us. We travel from Pembroke as great atmosphere in the Clifton. But unfortunately when there is sports on we have to go elsewhere to which is disappointing as we’re leaving a fantastic pub and hotel to go elsewhere which we don’t really want to leave. Awful pub. The woman managing this pub has a mouth like a sewer and drinks too much. Used to like using this pub 2 or 3 times a week but it’s gone downhill, it’s a horrible atmosphere and I’d rather use the Crofts Or the Elms. Staff were ok but Manager always drunk, swans around in a tracksuit all day or pjs. Drink across the road in a proper pub, I’ll never use the place again, dirty disgusting drug den, Brewery scraping the barrel with the person...

I found this pub was mostly where regular customers go as most people seemed to know each other, they were quite friendly and didn't make you feel like they didn't want you there, which is what tends to happen when I've been to other places like this pub. But although the customers were very friendly I found that there wasn't a lot of choice in most of the alcohol sold there & I found it quite boring and really wished I had not...
