Costa Coffee Broughton — Restaurant in Wales

Unfortunately the staff at Costa Broughton continue to alienate regular customers in their extremely rude and unprofessional attempts at demanding people adhere to track and trace. If anyone at the store reads this please understand that you do not have the right under any circumstances to demand to see someone’s phone, contact your head office for much needed guidance as soon as possible. People already consider your substandard coffee and food over priced , for your sake don’t give them the extra nudge they need to take their valuable business elsewhere. Don’t forget, this pandemic will eventually end, and the excuse of just following orders was used before in history, it didn’t end well then, and will not be an excuse in the future. Remember, do your job, but don’t forget common courtesy which everyone has...

Popped into the restaurant for what we thought was the breakfast deal... Picked out a bacon and egg bap from the selection available and went to the counter to continue with our choice of beverage it's only when the packaging was opened and the item placed in the microwave we were advised that only the bacon or sausage baps were available as a deal.... Ended up paying twice the price we were expecting... Not sure if this was explained in writing within the store but we didn't see anything.... especially on the shelf where the breakfast baps were stored Unfortunately this left us feeling a little cheated... Personally don't drink coffee so this was my first visit to a Costa coffee.... Don't think I will visit again.... But being fair in my reviews...the bacon and egg bap we had was...

Will never visit Costa at Broughton again. As you enter there is a sign saying wait to be seated when busy which it was starting to get busy but no one on the door seeing to anyone, so we found a seat, but as my husband got to the front of the queue being served they decided they were going to seat people and I was asked to rejoin the queue and would be seated asap when a table became available. It was freezing in there open to the elements so was not prepared to be put on a table right by the open doorway so we left. Get yourselves organized. I am a regular visitor to New Brighton where the coffee comes quicker and staff are organized...
