Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

They supplied a cup that was damaged (upon checking after the fact) However I spent £8 for a coffee for my mother only for it to have the top and lid fail because it was damaged Once it did all that scalding hot coffee spilled out over my hands and my mother's leg I had to pour coke over her legs just to stop it burning

Then had to go to multiple pharmacies just to find something to help stop the burning for both of us

I tried to complain but was told their HR team would contact me and yet still waiting

They already came back and said "oh sorry, since it wasn't on site it is complicated" it was right outside the store

Any way to cop out, bet they tried this when they had their last issue

Arrived at 10am as all the opening hours say opening is 10am on Sunday. Doors were open and no staff said anything to suggest otherwise. Then when upstairs an extremely rude member of staff loudly began saying "you need to get out were not open" when I replied saying the doors were open she said "but were not open so you need to leave now" We were only going for a coffee in Costa... Definitely won't be using the next store. Doesn't take much...
