Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

I’ve never posted a bad review before, but unfortunately I feel that I have to for this. Dreadful service lunchtime on 18th May. One guy looked totally disinterested in serving anyone. He eventually served one of the 2 people in front of me in the queue and then just stood around doing nothing, while the other person in the couple was waiting to be served. It was a good 3 or 4 minutes before he decided to serve her. He then went to the rear of the serving area and again seemed to be doing nothing. Eventually someone else served me, but in total it was over 15 mins before I got my coffee, and I know that someone else in the queue gave up and left. All the time, there was no appreciation of the long queue that had built up (incidentally, there were no cars in the drive thru at the time) and the constant smirk on the guy’s face was irritating too. Dreadful experience. I won't name the employee, as the individual may have been having a bad day, but having ordered a flat white to go (£3.75, mind you), I wasn't informed my order was waiting. Upon inspecting the order, it was a luke warm latte. I told the barista in question about this and was greeted with gas lighting and a stinking attitude. The individual re-made the drink and, quelle surprise, I was handed a perfect flat white - hot, the correct consistency, even had the nice little pattern on top. When I asked the individual's name, the person in question would not look at me. Came here with my partner on a week day last week on our way back from a quick shop nearby, to have a sit down coffee before heading home.

Service was slow, it took almost 10 minutes to get served with only a group of two people in front of us.

I had a Spanish latte which was pretty good however my partner's flat white was terrible. They had no oat milk so agreed to soy, however i don't think the barista new how to make a flatwhite with soy milk. The barista even said 'it doesn't look like a flatwhite but oh well' when putting it on the tray, the coffee was luke warm had 0 froth so she obviously hadn't steamed it enough.
