Royal Oak — Restaurant in Wales

The Royal Oak pub is a gem for me. It's got that classic vibe with cozy seating and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The bar staff are top-notch-always quick with a smile, remembering your drink if you're a regular, and handling busy nights without a hitch. Their service is what keeps me coming back. Used to be a regular at Royal Oak family has moved to the area was excited to revisit.. pub looking good but manager let place down no kitty Flynn, place nowhere near full we were initially in snug room by ourselves but were told by law we should have booked on line and would have to leave within the hour , we were actually told we were a liability when asked if we could return to table indoors when it got a bit chilly outside.. understandable if pub full but it wasn’t.. there seemed to be one rule for one table and another rule for others maybe you have to be a local ..he actually prevented us from sitting with our family 6 in total at which point we left so uncomfortable.. shame my advice walk a bit further...

Beautiful building and lovely looking pub, sat in the lounge and had a lovely time. Shame the real ale was advertised but wasn't on, but the Brains Smooth was a decent pint

Edit: I've been in several times since my first review and the Brains Bitter has been on and in very good condition. Staff are very friendly and are happy to put on any sport for you to watch if they have it. They do have Sky Sports but no BT. My previous visit must have been a one off with the lack of beer. We love this as our local now, and can't wait to...
