Visited today 27/07/25 around 1 pm. very disappointed!!! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and helpful, and I can't fault them,franchisees owners screw this place over by putting backwards priorises in place. I ordered three drinks. I received the first two drinks only to wait 15 minutes for the 3rd because the drive-through took priority!!! To make it worse the third drink I was waiting for I then had to ask to be re made as I normally I ask for it to be double blended but to save time and money the left overs in the jug from the previous drinks order (drive through) they then re used and correct ratio measurements werent even done!!! So my drink was just milk/milkshake. I then spoke to the new male manager to point out my frustration who at the time didn't really care and only apologised as he was cleaning tables as I was leaving, which was too little too late!! Also, I am going to point out the whole hygiene point of view with the fridge/glass cake box which has been an issue for at least 3 weeks+ the seal on the fridge near the handle is broke which allows flies and fruit flies in with all the cakes so every time I go in there is lovely clusters of fruit flies either on the food or just sitting on the inside of the glass the food should not be getting sold in the fridge/glass box a single fruit fly can lay up to 100 eggs per day and also just to point out fruit flies can spread disease aswell as the standard flies!!! When they land on food they are potentially contaminating it with pathogens, potentially causing foodborne illnesses. Read moreThis Starbucks is a real let down. The drive through is disorganized, don't expect them to know what you have ordered when you get to the the pay window after ordering on the speaker system. Expect burnt coffee, confused staff and an overall bad experience.
My own experience: Over the past few weeks I have visted this Starbucks 4 times and these are the experiences I have had: I've been spoken over on the speaker system and then got to the payment and collection window and been asked what my order was. I've been given only half my order and then asked why I am still parked at the window. I've been asked to pay for my order and then when I asked what I was paying for as they had messed up the order a few times I was told that they couldn't tell me because a member of staff who has now finished took my order. I've had to make two separate payments becuase things have been missed at the speaker phone (probably becuase the member of staff kept talking over me) and I have had a blank stare off a manager when asked if they can replace my coffee as the coffee beans are clearly burnt. I did not make a complaint until I was actually served burnt undrinkable coffee and the reaction off the manager was more that I have inconvenienced his day rather than sorry even though he did apologize and eventually replace the drink. This was the final straw for me with this Starbucks and will be now trying the Costa drive through down the road 🙂

They just kept saying that they’re busy and my drinks will with me soon. Customer service is completely unlike anything I’ve received in other stores. They didn’t ask for my name, all my drinks were given in paper cups instead of china mugs and then my drinks were all frothy and bubbly with burnt tasting coffee when I did receive them. The attitude of everyone on shift is what the main issue is. Very short and snappy with you and then turning to each other and laughing. Neither toilet had toilet roll but they were both so disgusting I decided to use the toilets at McDonald’s instead of asking the staff for toilet roll (I would have probably had to wait 30 minutes for this as well). Such a shame. These young people desperately need some actual management, I couldn’t tell who was in charge as they all seemed as clueless as each other. There were multiple people on bar and they were all handing out drinks that were wrong. People around me were taking their drinks, complaining that it was wrong but just having it anyway because the wait time was so bad. The staff don’t make it a comfortable environment where you can try to correct things either, that’s my only reason for leaving such a negative review.
