Visited Waterloo tea rooms for lunch and a drink. There was plenty on seating on arrival but it got busy around prime lunch time. Staff we very welcoming and were happy to help me you select a 'posh' tea. Ordered chicken in a ciabatta it was fresh and very delicious, reasonably priced. Also ordered coffee here that was also very well presented and tasted great. Would recommend to visit here for a drink or for a meal. Parking out side is free and there is a park that is a pleasant walk.

Had a lovely cream tea this afternoon my Daughters treated us I've had cream teas before . But this really this was the best . Lovely cake, sandwiches really fresh. There was fruit and a small salad as well. Scones where gorgeous lovely jam and cream couldn't eat it all they gave us little box's to take cakes home. ,

Hadn't been here for years but it's still just as good as ever! Huge selection of interesting teas and good coffees/hot chocolates too. But the best bit is definitely the cakes! The vegan chocolate avocado cake was delicious, as was the carrot cake. Highly recommended after a nice walk in the park!

I ordered a Americano and water whilst my wife and I were waiting for my wifes friend to arrive, who we were meeting for lunch. I asked the man behind the counter if he could open a tab as we would also shortly be ordering lunch. The coffee took 15 minutes to arrive!

When my wifes friend arrived we ordered sandwiches and rarebit and the staff had apparently lost my tab!

The waitress later informed us that they had run out of cauliflower, which none of us had ordered so not sure what that was about. The food eventually turned up it was OK, but I think my pulled lamb brioche sandwich was supposed to come with pickles but it came with a very basic salad of a few leafs and a couple of cherry tomatoes.

We then ordered cakes, which were nice enough but by this time our small table was overflowing with empty cups, plates and dishes, not once did any of the staff offer to clear the table despite the fact that when the waitress brought the cakes, we had to stack the plates so she could put them down on the table.

When my wife went to the toilets she got a glimpse at the state of the kitchen. There were dishes piled high in the sink, bread piled on the counter in the open and the floor was grubby! There was only a single shared toilet and it was particularly clean. The place was not particularly busy nor was understaffed. The staff were in the most part pleasant but very unprofessional. We will not...

Awful customer service. Booked my mother onto the barista training course which cost £60. My mum was unable to attend the date I ordered so visited the store and was told that it would be absolutely fine to change the date, I would just need to email Adam. Well this is where it all went wrong, Adam informed me (5 days waiting for a response from him) that I wouldn’t be allowed to change the course date. All of this contrary to what I was told in store. I’ve emailed Adam back on two occasions now and despite a whole week passing I’m still yet to receive a response. I’ve even called the store to request someone be in touch and again no one has got back to me. I remember when they used to put customers first, this seems to no longer be the case. Terrible service from what used to be a nice friendly independently...

Went here upon recommendation from a local friend. Afternoon Tea has to be booked a day in advance so could not have that which was a shame so opted for the brunch menu instead.

The pulled lamb in ciabatta was advertised to come with 'Pickled Vegetables', apart from lettuce there were no vegetables unless cucumbera and tomatoes have now become vegetables. 😐 The taste of what was served however, was nice. Apparently the meat is halal but the lady serving did not know this so I have no idea how official that is.

The scrambled eggs on toast were done nicely and the malted toast was also lovely. As for the tea, there was so much choice as you would expect, I decided on the Waterloo blend which tasted Yummy.

Overall, not a bad place for breakfast/brunch, I would perhaps try the cakes and...
