This chip shop changed hands a few months ago and the new owner is genuinely trying to make a go of it so please support him. On the hottest day of the year he was working solo and was really attentive. The fish and chips my friends had were reasonable quality. Fish had crispy batter and very well priced. My special burger was really nice too. Sadly a few things need addressing, the biggest issue being broken ceiling fans (and unfortunately he ran out of milk for teas that day). The place was boiling hot but I gather the current owner inherited the fan issue from previous people, and once these are fixed it will definitely improve customer experiences.

Extremely disappointed in the food, was recommended by a local as we’re staying in the area for a trip away. Everything was so overcooked it was inedible, chicken strips were so salty they were inedible and crunchy to the point you couldn’t eat them. Fish was so burnt it was the same colour of the chicken strips. Chips really dry no salt and vinegar even though we asked for it. Oil clearly hasn’t been changed for a long time. Overall food was not very nice at all, spend £16 on fish chips and chicken strips and chips with a curry sauce. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The burgers looked great though, maybe they should just be a burger bar instead.

Dropped in today whilst driving home to Norwich from Pembrokeshire for Fish, Chips and curry sauce. The staff were a lovely friendly bunch who made my fish fresh. The food was delicious and 10/10 but the best but was it was a mini cod but it was perfect size for me. Loved the food being served in a box all for £6.50 absolute bargain. Thanks guys I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area. Ps even your toilet was clean and smelt nice. 😊 your boss should be proud of you all. A great first impression 👍🏻

Odd thing here is..... we were recommended this chip shop by a local.... Heaven help this town if this is the best on offer.

We had 2 x large cod and a large chips to share and a curry sauce, this was about 4 hours ago and they are still repeating on me. The fish was of a decent size although mushy it was crispy so would give that. 7/10.

The chips were hands down the very worst we have ever had the misfortune of not eating.... Unfortunately the majority of them had to be thrown away as they were cold, foul tasting and an abnormal brown colour. 1/10

The curry sauce had very little flavour and certainly had no spice to it. I wouldn't even go as far as to say it was lukewarm.... It was cold, congealed and...
