I was really pleased to find a coffee shop with such a beautiful view, open so early at 7.45. Sadly my excitement did not last long. I would anyone to just walk a few yards around the corner, get a coffee from The New Quay coffee shop where they roast their own beans, grab a take away and go and sit on the wall over looking the beach by this cafe.
Read on for the full review. The member of staff behind the counter ignored me on two occasions, so i went to the hatch thinking I must order from there, only to find a sign saying order inside. So I return and this time am met by a new member of staff who greets me and takes my order, which I change to an americano when I am asked if I would like my flat white large or regular? There is no large flat white, but whatever, at least I have been acknowledged and this member of staff was very pleasant, It is not her fault she hasn't been taught correctly. Whilst I wait for my coffee I get myself a sausage and bacon bap, which was delicious. Returning with my buzzer that says my coffee is ready the original member of staff, slams the coffee and biscuit at the hatch. As i go to speak, she has already turned and walked away. A woman sat on the table behind asks if there is a problem "yes, the staff are extremely rude" To which the lady who turns out to be the manager replies "did you say please and thank you? they get annoyed at rude customers" another customer states he had a similar experience. The manager (who was eating breakfast) left to speak to the staff, returned and continued to assume it was my lack of manners, and then the excuse that they have been there for two hours and they are probably tired and need a break" and yet here was the manager having a break, eating breakfast, and being rude to customers.
It seems that the fact they have prime location means it doesn't matter if someone only goes once. reflecting, i get the impression the staff are miserable based on the...

We weren't bothered but my granddaughter was upset so my daughter went back and said I'm sorry but is there any chance you could puy marshmallow on and I'll pay only my daughter is upset it was another lady who was very nice and when she explained we hadn't known and weren't told you needed to ask or had a choice she apologised and didn't charge.it was...

So lush to see how intensive and caring . Fab cakes with an amazing view of the sea . I know soon the lease is up after 6 yrs of owning the cafe . Let's hope Paula gets to keep this cafe .
