What on earth have I found here! Hands down the easiest 10 I've ever given. Sandwich bar of the gods! Normally, you have tidy coffee, not so tidy food, or vice versa. Well, welcome to the exception! Holy Popsicles, it's good. Super unassuming, very comfortable, sort of home feel. Sandwiches are top marks, unbelievable, and generally omnomnomnom. Went in for lunch and had a deli and fish platter. Absolutely delicious and a lovely amount of food. Some of it appeared to be locally sourced and the focaccia and chutney was superb. The young lady serving was excellent. Very polite and well mannered, and knew all about the menu and ingredients. We were close to the till and heard her handle every enquiry perfectly. We've walked past Griff's Deli on many occasions and always thought we should pop in. We finally made a flying visit, for a glass of wine, some olives and a bowl of crisps.

The estate bottled pouilly-fumé, at £29 a bottle, was spectacular, as were the olives and crisps. There was a good range of produce, charcuterie, including some quite unique sherry, and a varied range of tempting morsels. We are very much looking forward to returning and exploring...
