My wife and I had breakfast at the Imperial Café  on the morning of June 21. Wonderful cafe, nice interior, beautiful paintings, beautifully painted walls, clean floors and toilet, excellent value for money. Delicious breakfast, a compliment to the cook. But we don't have a very good staff impression. Staff don't smile! Sullen faces spoil the cafe. The employee forgot to put the beans in our breakfast. When we told the employee about this, she did not apologize, pretended to know about it and said "Okay, now I'll bring the beans" with the appearance of doing us a favor. I would advise the manager of this good cafe to conduct a training with customer service staff. Employees should be more friendly, smile at customers and be able to apologize if necessary. AVOID - met with ignorance and ableism. Came here supporting a disabled individual and one of the staff members was telling us get out, to never come back, that we should not be allowed there among many horrible comments. Our individual has just as much right to this community and custom as anyone else and did nothing to warrant the reaction we got. NEVER had this kind of service or attitude toward the people we support, quite disgusted. Never had a problem with any other staff either and have previously taken people in we support. Today we will no longer be customers, cannot give money to somewhere that employs someone who appears to think disabled people should be shut away for the 'convenience' of people who already have so many...
