KFC Aberystwyth - Terrace Road — Restaurant in Wales

Today my experience at KFC Aberystwyth has been terrible I’ve been a regular consumer of this fast food franchise but today I don’t think ill be a returning customer, in general the food is overpriced for what you actually get For instance today I decided to get a chicken burger box meal costing £10 the burger wasn’t even made properly with salads and sauces missing from it further more the burger itself wasn’t even in side the bun ! It look like it was all chucked inside the box and thrown around the kitchen before it got to me. Now don’t even get me started the chip portion is ridiculous not even a hand full of chips the gravy that comes with the box meal barely even gets used as there isn’t enough chips to go with it better yet it would be helpful if the cooks can remember to put the chicken that also comes with the box meal in as it seems to be a common theme to forget to put stuff in

The staff Considering it takes about 20 minutes for your food to come you would think they would get your order correct first time it’s not as if it’s a busy franchise every time I’ve been there it’s been quiet I’m not surprised as the hygiene in there is terrible the tables are always dirty covered in sauces chicken, chicken bones and used cutlery and that’s throughout the whole restaurant it seems to stay like that all day I’ve yet to see any staff come out and clean the tables for a custom to eat...

I've been holding off on posting this for a while. Front of house staff are doing their absolute best and most of FOH staff are actually really nice and really apologetic for the dive they're trying to work in, otherwise, it's a joke of place.

Chaviest kitchen staff I've seen in a while, earphones in, chewing gum.

Currently sat looking at filthy floors, napkins and straws wrappers everywhere, surfaces all sticky.

The last five times I've been here, I've been waiting 15 minutes for my order. So it's not a coincidence that it's a long wait. Fast food, what a joke.

Order after order stacking up on the screens, the place isn't even that busy and orders just aren't clearing.

They've taken away the coffee machine to give to another store.

Krushem machine is often out of action.

Often out of gravy too.

Whoever is responsible for this KFC need to pull their finger out and get it sorted. One guy FOH trying to manage all the orders himself. Ridiculous. Kitchen staff need sorting too.

I'll be going to McDonald's or a local shop for the time being now.

P.S Elisha, I think that's how you spell it needs a pay rise and some serious commendation. That guy is an absolutely amazing worker, apologitic for KFC's mess, works hard, keeps customers informed as yo what's going on with the long waits, he's now just been clearing the front too. He's a swiss army knife and...

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for 5 years now. I get to town once a week so this place is my regular pit stop. The food is always good, as is the atmosphere. The staff are awesome, and always welcoming, even when rushed off their feet. Last year, i had a nasty fall on the path just opposite the shop. I have arthritis and osteoporosis so falls can be dangerous for me. A lady called Louise was the first person to me. She is a staff member at the KFC shop, and she rushed out to assist me when she witnessed me falling. She kindly helped me up, and guided me into the shop to sit down and collect myself for a few moments. The fall had shaken me up, but Louise’s help that day made all the difference to me.

I love that the staff at this shop go above and beyond for the community. I have seen a couple of abusive customers during my 5 years of visiting, yet the staff remain polite and composed, while calming the situations down. Calmer than i would be for sure.

The one thing i would change… Please bring back normal fries! The seasoned ones were ok but easy to get bored with. I now tend to buy rice boxes or sides now, avoiding those seasoned fries. I’d much prefer unseasoned...
