Went to KFC to order food for my family. Placed the order and went to the next window. Paid for my purchase and waited for my drinks. Whilst waiting enjoyed the sounds of the staff swearing loudly enough for my children to hear. I was handed my drinks and asked to park in the bay whilst they cooked my food. I then noticed a drink was missing. Wasn't given a reciept so couldn't check, but assumed they didn't hear me when I ordered. 5-10 minutes waiting food is given to us and we drive home. Get home to find I have the wrong side in my LARGE boneless banquet meal, and the portion size of the fries was pitiful, given I paid extra for a large meal. In addition to this, they were cold. (maybe it went cold when we waited for 5-10 minutes for it to be brought to the car) my partners meal had the correct side but the same cold chips and awful portion size. So I decided to go back and address my issues. I get back and from the look of it, they're getting lots of complaints. I make my complaint for which I get an apology. The assistant proceeded to resolve my issues. When I get home I realise they didnt replace the meal, just added some more chips and swapped the incorrect side. The chips they added were already cold and some of them were hard, and due to my brief travel (5 minutes), my chicken was now cold. My fault for assuming they would just replace the meal completely checking the new meal was hot and decent. Good customer service and all that.
All in all, pretty appalled. And to make it worse, my last visit featured incorrect sides.
Sadly with this seemingly constant stream of errors, I wont be making a return any time soon. Somewhat lost faith in the...
Read moreI waited in the drive-thru with three cars ahead of me for nearly 20 minutes, with no explanation given for the delay. While waiting, I noticed two KFC employees in uniform walking from the restaurant into the car park. As they turned the corner, one of them began laughing loudly and hysterically at the long queue of cars, which made me think they might know what the issue was.
When the employee came closer, I politely asked if they worked there and whether they knew what was causing the delay. To my surprise, she snapped back, “I don’t know.” Shocked at her abrupt response, I asked again in disbelief, “You mean to say you work there and don’t know what the problem is?” She then very abruptly told me that she had “clocked off” and wasn’t going to talk about it.
I then asked why she was being so rude and unhelpful, and she retorted, “I’ve done my shift for the day and I clocked off 20 minutes ago, thank you!”
I may be old-fashioned, but I was always taught that when in uniform and on company property, staff represent the business they work for. To see an employee laughing at a queue of paying customers and then speaking to me in such a rude and dismissive manner was unacceptable. This kind of behaviour shows a lack of basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect for customers.
KFC staff should be reminded that manners and simple decency go a long way in...
Read moreI never write reviews for good or bad experiences but this was something else. Absolute joke of a place. Went through the drive through, order a ricebox and a zinger burger, told we would have to wait for the rice, I have never been told that in a KFC before, told to pull into a bay and wait. 20 minutes go by and no sign of my food, so I enter the restaurant to ask where the food is. It was half completed, the burger had been done and that was it, yet they had served 4 cars in the drive through and 6 customers inside the restaurant within this 20 minutes. When the kind server (I mean that genuinely) asked where our food was, the what I assume was shift manager, responded with a hefty “I will do it now”. 5 minutes later it magically appeared in front of me with a half apology from a staff member. When I reached my house which is a 5 minute drive from the restaurant, it was found that my burger was freezing cold, they had forgotten the chips for one of the meals and my drink had become warm. Absolutely terrible place. Don’t...
