Absolutely extortionate for the experience... £110 per night and had dramatically gone up in past 14days from £80. This was the only room left in Rhyadar. Just a bed and it was noisy until the early hours, people shouting downstairs, we booked in and that was that didnt see our host again. A lazy sign that the room wouldnt be serviced but we (as guests) could ask for support. If this was a budget £50 room that would be justified. No breakfast or vouchers towards an evening meal. The room was clean to a point, the bedding and towels were clean and immaculate hence the two stars and the girls behing the bar were very friendly. Toiletries1 tiny bottle for 3 days between 2. Couldnt fill up the kettle in the tiny sink, had to improvise and use the tiny glass. Paint peeling off the radiator and windows and view was not nice. The roof needed cleaning. My advice would be AVOID this property

Lovely looking pub/restaurant. Two sections one side pub and pub food, other end of restaurant seating area, very classy village decorated, fresh colours. My fabric chair has stains on it so I exchanged for leather. I liked the fact they had wooden handles on chair. Table laid out very nicely with all condements. Drinks ordered and about 10 minutes later food arrived. Unfortunately I don't think the food is fresh, as the chicken steak burger (The huntsman) was very hard to cut maybe a few days cooked before. The servings are very large and the price high for none fresh food. Smaller portions and cheaper price would benefit this restaurant hugely. And the locals would benefit too. Customer service was very good. And quick. This is why I gave a 3 star. Hope the restaurant takes my feedback as something to aim for.

My friend and I booked a table for 5pm. We were attended to promptly. I ordered Fillet of Sea Bass which arrived quickly. I have never been served such a small piece of fish! A single piece of fillet, trying to cover seven potatoes! The potatoes were obviously left over from lunch time and tasted bad. When asked if the food was OK, I complained. The girl said she would speak to the chef. I got no further response from the staff? When I refused to pay, the manager declared 'no one else had complained '? The customer service was not what I would expect but the pub owners do have a monopoly in the village. My friends burger was OK, some consolation.

My daughter called the lamb and flag inn-bar-grill at 6.37pm and booked our family a table, telling the staff there we would be arriving anytime around 7 to 7.10pm, the staff on the phone said there was no worries as we just needed to be there by 7.15pm. Me and my family arrived at 7.10pm, so there shouldn't of have been a rush. When we arrived the waitress was asking for our order of drinks, and food before any of the family had even sat down. We then ordered our food, being rushed by staff. Once our food arrived the overall portion sizes were good, but mine and my daughters burger buns were over cooked and dry , the chips were overcooked and small portions, no sauces came with the burgers, apart from the ketchup and mayonnaise on the table. As a family we felt rushed to eat and finish our food as the waitress said they had a lot of bookings at 7.30, even when we had finished eating and left little to no people had arrived, we payed £74.00 as a family of 4 and left angry, rushed and...

Not a great experience Walked in for some food & drinks Got spoken down too and treated like we were idiots by a young boy (I have wine & underwear older than him) at the bar. There was a restaurant, pub area & outside area The restaurant &outside seating area was empty but they claimed to be "fully booked" so I looked round a few empty tables and got told to be done by 7pm on a certain table It was 4pm at this point, like we were going to spend 3+ hours just for a laugh.

We were sat in the corner The table next to us walked out half way through their food aswell as they had a bad experience (we heard them moaning) I said it was really loud and I could not hear my wife on our wedding anniversary. We asked to be moved & suddenly there was space in the restaurant that had 1 other table occupied. Food was 4/10 and the staff were just arrogant & rude.

There are loads more I could say about our experience but this complaint would be...

OK food but appallingly bad service

Arrived yesterday afternoon meeting my family for the first time in 9 months after lockdown for a meal. Firstly, I booked last week and checked yesterday morning with them on my booking - it wasn't there so had to rebook. Then when we arrived, the table was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. We ordered drinks and they lost our drinks order so we had to reorder. We had to wait a long time to order food and for it to arrive, and one of the meals came cold so had to be sent back. Drinks orders were slow and we felt very often forgotten by the staff. The food was actually pretty good, but ultimately the service was just beyond terrible considering I'd been looking forward to this for a while and hadn't seen my family in months. When I went to pay I said the service was bad but got no compensation and paid £100 for everything. Won't be coming back sorry and will be recommending others to avoid...
