I have given the extra rating as the food was good and for following the Covid guidelines well very aware as my wife is an NHS nurse at the Cardiff University Hospital. One bit of advice I think you should take when someone stands up at the same table they are sat at to take a picture, try asking politely not barking or shouting aggressively. Read moreI popped to Rhayader with my elderly Mam to visit my brother and get a bite to eat. We arrived at 2.45pm to find one cafe shut, the other only serving cakes and one pub closed. We walked past this pub as it said they only served till 2.45pm and tried the pub next door. Gratefully, 2 men outside told us to pop back to The Castle as they would probably help us out, and how right they were.
