Lost ARC Special - $8.95
Friday night is pizza night! The wood-fired oven will be lit in the afternoon and pizzas served from 16.30 onwards. We offer a gluten free base and can cook this separately if required, but please be advised that ours is a small kitchen, flour particles are very fine and dough stretching creates a fair amount of dust. We also have a range of vegan toppings - including vegan 'cheese' and 'chorizo' in addition to some exciting chargrilled vegetable toppings.
Full Welsh Breakfast
2 bacon, 2 sausage and blackpudding sourced from our local butcher, a free range egg, fresh from the farm, 2 hash browns, mushroom, roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine, baked beans and toast.
Full Veggie Breakfast - $7.95
2 vegan sausages, free range egg - or scrambled tofu - nutmeg scented spinach, mushroom, roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine, beans, hash browns and toast.
Smashed Avocado
Sourdough toast, topped with avocado and served with a fresh tomato salsa.

Art centre cafe, has carpark, and large outside dining area. This was our first visit. We arrived aprox 1pm, asked where we'd like to sit and shown to available table. Decent menu choice, with daily specials board. Menu catering for most dietary choices/needs. We chose Quiche of the day, with salads, coffee and fresh orange juice. The food and drink were delivered to the table in no time at all. The quiche was leek and mature cheddar, the pastry was beautifully crisp and the leek and cheese filling was fantastic, loads of leeks, and lots of cheese, and a generous portion of quiche. There was a combination of 3 salads served with the quiche, a sweet red cabbage, cous cous with various Mediterranean veg, and a bean and chicken pea. All fresh and very tasty. The orange juices were large portions and the coffee was really nice, smooth and flavoursome flat white. The place was very clean, and had a nice atmosphere, and the staff were attentive and friendly. There appeared to be separate menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, though we only saw the lunch version. They appear to have regular music sessions in the evening and other entertainment on at various times. We'd definately go again when next in the area, and would highly...

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I can’t let this pass. Got turned away and discriminated probably cos of my race. The place looked empty, lots of vacant tables. When my husband went back in the car and I was sat alone, that’s the time the lady approached me& asked me whether I made a booking, when there’s nowhere online that mentioned you need to book prior. The lady with a short hair wearing glasses was quite rude and hostile. She said,”do you need food? Did you book? Sorry, we’re fully booked tonight”. All the other people (who were, yes, surprisingly white) just walked in, sat on their tables and got served. They weren’t even asked whether they made a reservation. I asked the other staff whether a booking is necessary, and she just hesitantly said “sometimes” — she’s not even sure of her answer! Only goes to show you just make your rules as you go along! Is this how you treat your non-white customers? Just send them away and not serve them at all? I am not sure how long you can get away with this unacceptable behaviour. First time to experience such rude and discriminating behavior in our visit to Wales! Avoid this place — especially if you’re not white! You won’t...

Think we caught them on a bad day, not much went right for us.

Drinks came out separately, food came out separately (individuals finished whatever came out before the rest of our party of 4 got their order) food order was wrong, our food went to another table, was told there was a 20min wait on food orders at the start, then another 10, then told they ran out of mushrooms, but we got mushrooms but no sausages. Was there for 1hr 45mins.

Raised the issues with staff, got a partial refund. 2 star review, 1 for location/setting & 1 for quality of food.

Left very disappointed & behind on the rest of our days plans. Think they bit off more they could chew instead of being honest and saying they’re up neck with orders at the beginning. Honesty is the best policy.

Real shame, especially with the high rated...

Saw sandwich board for this place on the road, tucked away behind a few buildings. Excellent little cafe/ restaurant, had the veggie breakfast, very nice too.....staff, attentive and friendly. I was seated away from the cafe area in the stage area at the back of the building as it was a cold day (for May) and the table available in the cafe was near the door. Appreciated that they had considered this, as I turned up on my road bike.....I was told the cafe has only been open a year, but seems popular with the locals and hope they get the success they deserve during these difficult times.

A wonderful, charming cafe in beautiful surroundings with friendly, attentive staff. Did not book beforehand and they informed us they were running short of dough but managed to fit us in. Tasty gorgeous pizzas on Fridays. They also have an extensive range of cakes all vegan friendly and good coffee. The server told us about a lovely woodland and river walk nearby. My only tip would be too prepare more dough for walk ins during the holiday season as non locals would not know to book a table. I look forward to returning.

Not the location you would expect, but what a nice surprise. A place for breakfast, a place for your lunch, for your cappuccino, for your dinner (respect the menu, accept as it is), but also an excellent musical venue The latter is due to the most excellent sound of the hall: no bouncing echosounds, but the dry sound just like in a recordingstudio (clap your hands in the room and you will understand). Owner Paul took the time for a wonderfull chat and a small tour, telling about the building's history. It made my day.
