Turkish Delight — Restaurant in Wales

Was waiting to try a kebab here and was disappointed that the shop had no Doner Meat!!! Unusual for a kebab shop. Had to settle for quarter pounder burgers which were below par, first time I was Disappointed when looking at a burger, pattie was soft with no texture, salad was week, and bun broke up on touch, definitely in the top 10 worse burgers I've had. Was really looking forward to this visit as the food reviews are very good, the shop is spotlessly clean which is reassuring, the lad behind the counter was very welcoming and pleasant. Visited Turkish Delight during a camping trip to the Elan Valley.

Friendly service, prices on par with my local kebab house and good menu.

The meat was cooked properly and the salad and pitta were both fresh, they asked how much of each sauce did we want, meaning that it wasn't swimming in the stuff like many places.

Very clean open cooking area which the guys were cleaning as they were prepping which was nice to see, hence why they have a high food standards rating.

We have come to Rhayader staying at the Holidays Wales and was reccomended this place. If I could rate this 10 stars I would! Food was cooked fresh with fresh salad also!! We had chicken and lamb Shish kebab on pitta and it was beautiful!! The best we have had in a long long time!! The staff were so polite from the minute we ordered on the phone all the way up to collection! So professional! Would definitely come back again....
