I researched restaurants in the area prior to a vacation at the nearby haven site and Les and Rita's was recommended and boy are we glad we visited. From outside it looks like any other chip shop, within to the right is the take away counter and pay station, to the left and rear is ample seating so on this occasion we decided to eat in. Your order is taken at your table from a friendly waitress, ours being Sarah and drinks if ordered are brought out before your meal. Meals arrive promptly on proper plates with clean metal cutlery and salt and vinegar are already provided. On to the food, AMAZING! the fish was beautifully white, skin and bone free with tasty fresh batter, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the peas were as you would expect, the kids had sausage and both said it was very tasty, one had gravy which was lovely and rich and not watery at all. Tea was included in the fish meals and was also nice and the kids had a can of Dr pepper which was extra but not too overpriced. Price wise it was fantastic, by far the most value for money meal we've had all week, less than £30 for four to eat with drinks in this high cost of living climate felt like they were doing us a favour, and for that I THANK YOU. I would thoroughly recommend Les and Rita's if in the area, I am unaware if there is parking nearby, customers using the takeaway parked out front but it is on a busy road so it may be worth researching if you require parking. There are toilets for customers at the rear and my wife actually commented saying how clean and spacious they were which is a huge positive and adds to the overall great score we give Les and Rita's, in fact we're going back again in a few days time.

Oooo what a little gem of a chippy! We were advised to sit down and they came to take our order. Its nice and simple decor. I was looking for dust ( I can be a bit annoying like that), I could not see any. The place seemed really clean. Put your woolly hat on for the toilet (I can only speak for the girls) as it was like the artic! We ordered the deal which was fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and a pot of tea for £4.95. It was one of the nicest fish and chips I've ever had. The batter was nice and light but still crispy, the chips we not too fatty tasting and the mushy peas were lovely too. The staff were really friendly and chatty. Next time we visit we will always go there. If you go Rhyl, go here!

We decided to visit Rhyl today because it was so sunny and hot and then wanted chippy lunch. The positive reviews on Google is why we chose to come to Les and Rita's fish bar. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, the fish was cooked PERFECTLY, it was light, crispy and fluffy and not at all greasy. I even thoroughly enjoyed the curry sauce. This was the best fish and chips I've had in years and £8.50 for a meal inc a can, BARGAIN. I'm glad I don't live closer or I'd be in here all the time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Food was ok, but I was left disappointed as I was still hungry afterwards, due to small portions. Staff need to pay attention when they are serving. We sat down and a staff member came to us. We gave our order of 2 cod specials and my Wife asked for a coffee, instead of a pot of tea. The woman serving said coffee would be extra. We looked at the menu, the coffee was 30p dearer than a pot of tea. My wife also didn't want any peas. The woman forgot to bring our drinks, we had to ask for them. When the food came, there were peas on my Wife's plate, which she didn't order!! When the bill came, we had been charged 50p extra for the coffee and not 30p as on the menu. My Wife also had no peas, which are priced at £1.60. As she had no peas, we thought that they would not charge the extra for a coffee. When we queried it, we were told "He" tells us to charge 50p extra. My Wife said that the menu states it is 30p price difference, plus she didn't have the peas, but they wouldn't listen, we had to pay. That's our first and last visit to this...

Okay, so maybe it was because they was due to close an hour after my visit. However quality shouldn't be effected when you're still so busy. It's very busy, its a very very traditional old school chippy in my opinion. Which is lovely, the lady was lovely who served but rushed confused and questioned by the other staff constantly for what food she had used. The curry special was nice, but not spicy not really much taste. The chips were extremely crispy, and the butter on the chip barm/roll/breadcake wasn't melted, but the gravy and curry sauce was okay. There's not really much to right about in terms of taste, as there wasn't much of it. Its busy because its a traditional chippy near the sea. The restaurant part looked clean but couldn't seat ourselves due to closing soon, although it was an hour befire stated closure time. Its good to note this was the only place in terms of chippy, left open at 6.30pm on a Saturday. Teens said it was...
