I’ve been a huge fan of breakfasts at Longa for some time now, so I was really excited to try their evening menu at the new New Park Place location. And wow—it did not disappoint!
From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely bursting with flavor. Every bite was an explosion of taste that showcased the creativity and care put into the menu. It’s clear that Longa has taken Turkish cuisine and elevated it to a whole new level.
The menu itself is wonderfully varied—there’s truly something for everyone. Whether you're a fan of bold spices or subtle, comforting flavors, you’ll find something to love. What made the experience even better was the staff: friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food. They were more than happy to recommend dishes for each of us and took the time to describe the ingredients and preparation in detail.
This was our first evening visit to Longa, but definitely not the last. If you’re looking for an evening meal that’s both exciting and satisfying, with warm service and stunning flavors, Longa @ New Park Place is...
Read moreDo yourself a favour and book a table!!! I’ve been eating brunch at their Whitchurch Road branch regularly for the past two years and as soon as I knew they’d opened this restaurant in town I booked a table for myself and two friends. The first thing that strikes you is the excellent location and the impressive exterior and interior and it continues from there. We ordered a range of starters to sample as much as we could - particular highlights were the Turkish cacik - cucumber yoghurt with pomegranates; simple home-made pillowy bread with a black peppery, garlicky butter; stuffed dolma (vine leaves) with a berry jus; hot hummus with melted cheese and pastirma (this cured Turkish beef coated in cumin and coriander is a must and also came cold with some sliced cheddar and rocket). The superb, welcoming service from their Whitchurch Road branch continues here. This venture is the brainchild and hard work of sisters who care passionately about the food and their customers - supporting them will feed your body and your heart. Cost per head was £35 including a tip, enough food to feed more than the three of us...
Read moreI was on an international trip, eating Turkish food all month and briefly visited Wales half way in. This place, however , hands-down had the best Turkish breakfast+ I have ever eaten in my life of eating Turkish breakfast,
Also some of the top 50 Turkish foods I’ve ever eaten. I had a great time with two of my old friends and the service was nice and the food was intricate, and every part of the meal was worth sharing and I am here to come and get it if I ever come to this part of the world again. Thank you guys so much and if you can only go to one or two places while you’re in town, I recommend this be one of them, it’s clearly a town favorite, so I recommend coming earlier than you think.
Kind souls seem to work there too on the day I Went in February, the manager/owner I think, some gal with a cool giraffe tattoo, and wholesome guy named Josh - many of the staff had been familliar with both wear and Turkish culture for years so that was super...
