McDonald's — Restaurant in Wales

If you're expecting this McDonald's to be the same as before it went from McArthur Glen you'll be sadly mistaken. Food rarely is arriving hot, despite the waiting times. It's small in there, loud and people everywhere , poorly designed building to be honest. The worst thing is the wait times. I don't see how on a Monday evening waiting for a double quarter pounder and a chicken salad can take 30 minutes. We arrived with around 20 minutes before our film in Odeon thinking that would be fine, given that previously anything more than a 5 minute wait would be rare. We weren't the only ones waiting either. A couple before us were there the same amount of time waiting and an elderly lady and her daughter were slightly after us and asked for their money back after 20 minutes (which I wish I had done given the food arrived Luke warm). My advice is just avoid this place entirely. McDonald's is done up there , let the place close and just eat somewhere else. It's...

As a courier for Uber Eats, I have had several unpleasant experiences with the staff at this restaurant. On one occasion, I arrived to pick up an order and the restaurant was quiet, with only one person preparing orders and several others standing around. Despite waiting to be served, I was told by a staff member that he was not allowed to give me the order, even though it was ready in a bag.

Missing items again — McArthurGlen branch needs serious improvement

This McDonald's is consistently unreliable. I’ve had multiple orders from the McArthurGlen branch where items are missing — fries, sauces, even full meals. It’s happened too many times now to be a one-off mistake.

Staff clearly aren’t checking the bags properly, and it’s incredibly frustrating when you only realise after leaving or once the delivery arrives. For a global brand, the lack of care and basic attention to orders is unacceptable.
