Mec Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

Brilliant knowledgeable staff who are passionate about the beans they’re serving, a nice variety although slightly limited in terms of roasters. I was offered an espresso split in half so that the other half could be enjoyed as a mini flat white at little extra cost and this is something I’ve never been offered all my time drinking coffee and was such a nice idea that really allowed me to see both sides of an absolutely delicious bean. They even gave me a little sample of their batch brew as well! It is little touches like this that set a café apart and Mec absolutely excels.

Seriously good coffee shop on Crwys Road. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always very welcoming. The coffee is very reasonably priced, and yes, you guessed it, exceptionally well made. They allow well-behaved dogs which is another bonus. I never used to even like coffee that much... thanks Mec for getting me hooked!

While not immediately obvious, the Bulles Wine section towards the back of the shop is worth looking through. Ask the staff and they can talk you through their ever-changing...

The staff is very knowledgeable and keen to provide information on questions you might have and help you choose the best option for you, be it V60, espresso or cappuccino. Love the pickup playing vinyls in a small corner and watching the sunset from the front window while having a cappuccino....
