In Cafe Cardiff — Restaurant in Wales

The food was SO GOOD and served super fast. My partner had booked a reservation for 7pm on Monday, we were quickly seated and served our food within 15 minutes of arrival (we had the vegan duck and vegan chicken noodles with vegan prawn toast). How do they get the noodles to taste/feel so much like egg noodles?! I've missed being able to eat egg noodles since going vegan as wheat noodles just aren't the same, but these taste & feel just like the noodles I remember having as a child! The vegan prawn toast was also good and crispy.

The staff were really lovely (a young man with blond hair and a middle aged woman). They were friendly and welcoming and so polite to the rude, ignorant (and very self entitled!) customers who were sitting behind us, staring at my partner like creeps as he ate and obnoxiously talking to the waiting staff as though they were dumb ("COLD SO-YA BEAN MILK" in an exaggeratedly slow, loud voice, for example). The female staff member even kindly offered them a hair dryer as it had been raining! From the outside, it looks just like an ordinary cafe.

I walked in and ordered a mega breakfast, and from its appearance, it just looks just the same as you would expect from any other cafe.

For a normal english breakfast being priced at £6.80 you would think its a bit expensive compared to an average cafe in cardiff.

The difference is that, the breakfast tasted stunning! To describe it as "delicious" is an understatement. It was simply awesome! The ingredients they use are of the highest quality. Gourmet bacon and sausages from local butchers; free range eggs; fresh mushrooms & tomatoes instead of canned ones; hash browns fried to perfection; generous portion of beans; even the toasts are served hot compared to some other cafes who might start toasting the breads before the customers walk in.

In summary, whilst this is not a budget cafe, after trying it out you would realise - it's a bargain! I will return to this cafe often as long as their quality remain if not improve to another level.

Extremly Terrible Experience

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant.

I placed an online order and patiently waited for two hours. I reached out to the restaurant several times during the extensive wait, they always said the food was on the way. I finally decided to contact the restaurant for a refund. They seemed understanding and advised me to contact the delivery platform directly.

The real shock came after I applied for the refund on the delivery platform, the delivery platform told me the restaurant had conveniently passed the blame onto the delivery rider, claiming they couldn't refund because the rider failed to contact me. This was not only infuriating but also a blatant attempt to shift responsibility.

The combination of poor service, lack of accountability, and a complete disregard for customer experience make it an establishment to avoid at all costs. I strongly advise potential patrons to think twice before considering...
