In short: fabulous quality food, amazing view, good atmosphere, welcoming staff, microscopic £9 pudding. In detail: The location and view are amazing as is the quality of the decor and investment in the restaurant. It feels lovely and the staff are welcoming and helpful. We were both blown away with the quality of the food. Given the location, they could have got away with making much less effort but all three courses were really exceptional. The gyoza were done of the best I've had in a long time. The fish and chips were superb for a restaurant... perfectly cooked chips, thin and crispy batter on a thick and nicely moist slab of fish. The pizza base was decent (crispy but not so chewy if you are being picky) with generous but not excessive toppings. The puddings were also delicious. The only disappointment was the size of my pudding which, for £9, was really a bit insulting. I want expecting something vast but as the rest of the meal had been so good, it felt a real let down. It was delicious but, as you can see in the photos, only about 3 spoonfuls. I'd still go back without a doubt... but I'd skip the puddings.

Had a nice evening at a works do ( the standing stones) really like the new take over definitely a good place to drink and relax only negative things I've got to say was my meal was misleading I order the pork belly and wings but I got ribs instead of belly I did ask the waitress about it but tbh I forgotten what the reason was but was still a nice meal but was nothing amazing, personally overpriced. The only two other negative things I will say is that I was put off at first ordering cocktails as the wait for drinks was over 20 minutes so I got a bottle instead to start with but will admit that when I got a cocktail when quietened down was lovely, and yeah for some reason we were on two separate tables which made things a bit awkward even though tables could of been moved as we pretty much had that whole section but was told not allowed to move the tables. Other than that I had a fantastic time with my work colleagues and was a good evening overall.. personally I won't come here for food but to drink and relax hopefully soon Thank you for catering for us and a good evening Take care Aaron

Fabulous experience at Ocean’s Edge. Dined there on halloween night for our Anniversary and could not fault it. The cocktails were gorgeous and lovely gin selection. The guinness could’ve been colder (we’re snobs) but otherwise a perfect pint! The service was outstanding. Three gorgeous servers couldn’t do enough for us. My partner has lots of allergies and we rang ahead so they were super accommodating. She had calamari to start with vegan mayo(!!!!) and the prawn linguine with vegan cheese(!!!!). Such a nice selection of allergen friendly food for a small and independent restaurant. My scallops were perfectly cooked, the risotto they came was underwhelming but they made up with the mains. Perfectly cooked Rump Steak and the basil butter was divine. Staff were happy to substitute items and very friendly. The vibe inside is lovely. I imagine the views are wonderful on long summer nights. Couldn’t recommend it more, we will be back next year on our Annual Anglesey Anniversary trip!

Me and my partner decided to give oceans edge a shot , well now I'm wishing that we didn't. We had a table booked for 18:30 shown to our table all going well. My partner ordered a pizza as you can't really get that wrong, myself I ordered teriyaki salmon noodles. Food arrived roughly 10 mins later which was a bit suspicious but we where happy as food had arrived. I took one bite of salmon it was dry and bland, the noodles were chewy, as if the whole thing was just placed in a microwave( not saying it was though as we don't know what goes on in the kitchen) onto my partners pizza and ow boy was that bad , bland , chewy , soggy and greasy. My partner ate one slice and was done ( an Aldi oven pizza is better although other brands are available) I had enough of my food and left the noodles, not at one point did we have a call back to ask how the food was. And when we told them that we were not paying for the pizza they came back and said and I quote " chef said it's the mozzarella that's makes it greasy" well that was it we left after that, even when leaving no one asked if the food was okay or if we had a good time, not even a goodbye. Well don't waste your time with this pit , it's was miles better when it was the black seal. My opinion just walk the 5 more minutes down the road to the sea shanty it's so much better and cheaper so PLEASE don't waste your time going to the oceans edge. Anyway thanks for the...

Visited here today with my 2 year old. We were in the area and he was hungry, and I'd heard good things about Ocean' Edge on facebook so made our way there. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was amazing. The lady who greeted us was lovely about us not having a reservation and put us in the window which was right near the baby change and had an incredible view - much to the delight of my son who enjoyed watching the 'birdies' and the boats. The waiting staff were so nice and helpful and interacted with my son regularly, which was just that extra bit special (and helped me keep him entertained) whilst I ate - they even opened his ketchup sachet whilst I was cutting his food up. The food and coffee were great. The meals were hot when they arrived and were made quickly. The baby change was clean, as was the tables and I've actually never been provided with a completely spotless high chair anywhere else before, so this was a big bonus. It was pricey just for lunch, but I felt it was absolutely worth it in terms of the meal quality and the level of service. Thank you so much everyone for making us so welcome, comfortable and a big shout out to the chefs doing an awesome job in this heat. We will absolutely...

We ate here on the evening of my 40th birthday on our trip away to Anglesey to celebrate my birthday. When we sat down a lot of the food on the menu had run out. My fiancé and brother both ordered the sea food linguine. My brother hardly ate any of his as the taste of the sauce was so aversive but my fiancé ate all of his as he was so hungry. Both did not think the dish tasted very good. My brother ate the rest of my niece’s ribs which he also didn’t rate. Later than night before bed my fiancé started to feel unwell and in the night was sick and had diarrhoea. This lasted for days and he was very unwell. My brother was also feeling sick but was not as bad. The restaurant denied liability but agreed to refund us the price of the meal. Initially instead of refunding us they charged us again! This was eventually corrected. Incidentally my fish was over cooked and sent back. Our trip away was ruined as we ate here on the first night and my fiancé did not recover until our last day. This spoiled my birthday celebrations to say the least. The restaurant looks the part and the waitress was lovely, but the food...
