We visited North Wales for sightseeing last weekend and stumbled upon this excellent restaurant — what a hidden gem! We ordered the fish and chips and a gammon steak. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food. I personally had the gammon steak, and it was fantastic. The grilled flavor was rich and smoky, far better than I expected! The fries on the side were crisp and tasty, and impressively, they stayed that way even after they’d cooled. The grilled pineapple on top added a lovely sweet-and-sour contrast that paired perfectly with the savory gammon. The environment was clean and cozy, and the staff were warm and friendly. We even asked for a recommendation on the best sunset viewpoint nearby, and they were happy to help. Easy parking, great food, friendly service. This place is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We did a last minute on line booking for 7 and a dog only to find that what I had booked was in the no dogs here section. The staff were awesomely accommodating , made space and set up an extra table for us and the dog. The place was really busy but our orders were taken quickly and efficiently and the wait for our food was less than I expected given the size of our party and how busy the place was. The food arrived all together was piping hot, cooked to perfection and delicious. I was well impressed I shall certainly be visiting again. If you go and are served with the same level of attention and quality of service you will not be disappointed..

We came by this beautiful venue last minute and was able to get a table without a reservation. We were greeted by friendly staff who kindly seated us and were able to take our orders very quickly. We ordered the Welsh rump steak and seabass...it did not disappoint! The presentation was lovely and the food itself was so fresh; it was delicious 😋 The only thing I'd suggest is for the staff to make guests aware at the beginning that you pay for your food at the bar and not in the restaurant. Thank you for looking after my sister and I 😊

We dined here on a Thursday with our dog. We sat in the pub area, which was quiet at the time but soon filled up! Service was very good, until, again -it filled up and we had to ask for our bill twice. In hindsight, we should have gone up to the bar.

Panko prawns starter was above average, and the homemade focaccia was nice, but needs to be crispier to hold up to the oil dipping sauce. I swear they gave me a whole tin of olives with it! Hubby really enjoyed his lamb chop with mint sauce, as it's a rare treat. Homemade lasagna was also way above average and a huge portion, but too much bechamel for my liking (That's probably just me)

Portions were very good size and sides (chips, salad, coleslaw) were great.

Value for money compared to the rest of Anglesey is...

Pretty good, it is a similar menu and prices to the pubs around here. Hoverever they were running a deal two meals for £20 and wine at £12 a bottle so it was very good value. The resturant is in a conservatory off the bar. The restaurant was almost full with two large parties but it wasn't too loud and was cosy despite the storm going off outside. The food arrived pretty quickly, we had veggie lasagna and steak and chips, bottle of Merlot, creme brulee and a couple of coffees. All pretty good. We left feeling full and happy and glad of the mile walk home to walk off the food a bit. We booked not expecting the place to be busy but we may have not got a table...
