PizzaExpress — Restaurant in Wales

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Express in Carmarthen, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff and shown to my table.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and inviting, with cozy lighting and comfortable seating. The menu was extensive, with a wide variety of pizzas to choose from, as well as salads, pasta dishes, and desserts.

I opted for a classic margherita pizza, and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had! The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the cheese was perfectly melted and delicious. The toppings were fresh and tasty, and I could tell that only the highest quality ingredients were used.

To top it all off, the service was exceptional. My waiter was attentive and helpful, making sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

Food is ok but unfortunately the waitress lets you down. Second visit now and service is the absolute worst! Someone that has either worked there far too long and forgotten how to interact with people or simply shouldn't be in a customer facing role. If I knew her name I'd name her, tall, short hair, has a lovely accent - possibly Italian because she pronounces the food beautifully but for some reason she just can't crack a smile and is the very blunt and makes you feel like youre an inconvenience. Makes the experience very uncomfortable, there was some sauce or food on my plate that was supposed to be clean and when I told her she took it away, on her way back with a new one I saw her wiping it with her hands which couldn't have been very clean as she'd just been clearing other tables. She brought it over and slammed it down on the table, no apology whatsoever just "there you go". Appauling customer service. Avoid! My husband, our 9y old girl and I stopped to have something to eat here while charging the car at the near Tesla super charger. We enter the restaurant and waited to be served near the door. The restaurant was almost empty. A member of staff showed visible signs of being annoyed by our presence, but we were unsure if his gestures were directed to his colleagues rather than ourselves. As soon as he came to great us, he clarified that the restaurant would close at 10pm. We explained we were looking to eat quickly and get on with our journey to the Midlands and that 30mins would have been long enough for that purpose. We were then shown to our table and as soon as we sat down, the same member of staff very rudely threw, rather than place, the menus on the table.
