My recent visit to Plumvanilla Cafe was an absolute delight, a discovery that has quickly become a favourite. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for what was to become a memorable dining experience. The cafe itself boasts a charming decor, offering a cozy retreat that feels both inviting and intimate.
The highlight of Plumvanilla Cafe, without a doubt, is its exceptional coffee. Each cup is brewed to perfection, offering a rich and robust flavour that can only be described as a true coffee lover's dream. Whether you're in need of a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon break, the coffee here promises not to disappoint.
But the real surprise was the food; it's simply outstanding. Each dish we tried was a testament to the cafe's commitment to quality and flavour. However, it was the pavlova that stole the show for us. Light, airy, and perfectly sweetened, it was the epitome of dessert perfection. The balance of textures and the freshness of the fruit toppings made each bite a pure delight. It's not just good; it's "come back just for this" levels of delicious.
The staff at Plumvanilla Cafe deserve a special mention for their friendly and attentive service, making us feel valued and well-cared for throughout our visit. It's clear that they take pride in not only the food and drink but in ensuring every guest's experience is positive.
In conclusion, Plumvanilla Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for good coffee, great food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to their pavlova - it's a decision you won't...
Read moreWe've always enjoyed late lunches here, looking forward to my Wednesdays off work and grabbing a healthy, delicious meal here. But since the pandemic, the menu has changed, now totally vegetarian (which is fine as they are still tasty), and the roulades would always round off a delightful lunch. However on our last visit, we were charged for cream to go with it, which they never did. Quite the wrong business strategy for the small fanancial gain at the expense of loyal customers. And prices generally have gone up, £45 for lunch for two, with dessert, and cream, can be a bit expensive. It's...
Read moreLoved everything about this place. Despite having to wait for a table due to it being so busy, the front of house/staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Lovely relaxed setting in a bright and airy space.
Food was fresh, tasty and came in a timely manner. We had the fritters and a friend a cheddar quiche. All were lovely. Menu was varied so lots of nice things to choose from.
We then had desserts and coffee - again very tasty and well worth having if you can fit them in.
would highly recommend and will definitely return when we’re...
