Lovely friendly staff, friendly patrons and I had a good time. Jukebox was good even on autoplay, rock music always goes down well with a pint. I gave it 5 stars because I don't think it deserves to be baldy rated. It does need a little bit more love in the interior, I would change or modernise the interior; It's not got a gentrification style about it so I don't think a total restoration, but a bit of spruce and some fixes are obviously necessary. Anyway, good luck, next time I am in Bangor I might pop in again for a...

Rascals is a great little pub with a brilliant character and personality all of its own. The pints are well kept and looked after, you can tell by the great taste!

All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the jukebox always has some good music on. While there are 2 pool tables, only one is open to the public, with the other reserved for the bars pool teams, which is something I fully agree with!

Also, try a Fat Frog, one of their cocktails!

Great, Friendly... Establishment - and, ALWAYS... prepared... to... help... me, whether... entering... the... building... safely... or... carrying... my... drinks... over... to... the... table...!!

Bar... Staff... are... ALWAYS... nice... and... sociable...!!

Craig, the... Manager, makes... a... YUMMMMY... Hot... Chocolate - without... the... "FRILLS..." though...!!

I... highly... recommend... this... BAR...!!
