Belle Vue Hotel — Restaurant in Wales

I’ve visited this place the past three year i am apart of the law society and we even have them as our sponsor. Bar staff are lovely i have never had a problem with them, but the manager was absolutely disgusting i was wearing a low cut top and he was staring at my breasts when i told not to because it was making feel uncomfortable he respondent with women should wear more clothing! I then asked him is that why some males think they can touch a women or looking at them the way you are and get away with it when he responded with yes! He said for the second time i WOMEN SHOULD WEAR MORE CLOTHING! I went on to say that he shouldn’t say stuff like that he then refused to serve me and told all members of staff not to serve me even though this man acted disgusting towards me and was drunk himself. I will never visit this pub again and i will ensure that the uni is aware of what happens in this pub so other students are aware and won’t visit. Maybe then this man will question his actions even the bar staff said it didn’t shock them that...

The drinks are reasonably priced and decent in quality, but their blatant disregard for the safety of their clientele is effing appalling. A friend was spiked and, upon requesting the staff take a look at only a five minute window of their CCTV, they outright refused. It seems as though they genuinely do not take the safety of customers seriously and I've heard this has happened numerous times at the infamous BV.

It's a real shame, because in past years, the Belle Vue had a great reputation as the go-to affordable and friendly student pub. Nowadays, it's a shell of what it once was.

Bartender extremely rude and hostile. Stated no ‘aperol spritz’ as they were a “student bar”. Said they didn’t serve food even though it stated on the wall food was served until 11pm. Asked for a Sex on The Beach cocktail but he said he couldn’t make it because they had no peach schnapps. We decided on another cocktail instead. It was vile. In the meantime, we noticed Archers peach schnapps behind the counter (3 bottles). We went to ask if we could change current pitcher for what we originally asked for. Charged us the full amount.
