SAFFRON Fine Asian cuisine — Restaurant in Wales

Ordered a takeaway from their menu and asked for an extra naan which I was charged for but when I got back found it was missing. I telephoned and they admitted their error but said I'd have to call in to get the item refunded. This would require a special journey as I am on holiday and have no reason to go into St David's agian. I twice asked if they could do a partial refund to my card and was twice told that it was not possible. I have checked with Sumup and, not only is it possible to do a partial refund, it is simplicity itself. I can only conclude that they were trying to avoid giving me a refund by making it as difficult as possible.

The food was very average. My partner's lamb tikka masala had a small amount of meat and a lot of dyed red sauce. My own meat bahar was ok but both dishes were far from the "Fine Asian Cuisine" that the menu promised.

There is not a lot of choice in St David's but I would advise any connoisseurs of South Asian food to go without rather than face...

Service was shocking restaurant was very cold told heating was on well that was a lie. No ice to chill wine no ice bucket. We felt in the way especially when they were clearing the food from the kitchen to put in the freezer. We were there for special occasion due to the very poor service and rude attitude we will remember this occasion for all the wrong reasons. The food was below average. Well what can I say apart from you really must come here, make sure you book!. Everyone is very pleasant and a good laugh too. My food that I ordered was chicken tikka jalfreze, a most aromatic dish and for those of you that don't know me, it's the only one I have when trying a different restaurant.
