Horrible ! Early lunch 12.15 . Only one other couple there . After ordering roast beef , told beef was finished . Ordered alternative of roast chicken . After waiting nearly 45 mins chicken came . Lumps of chicken clearly microwaved . Inedible .....roast potatoes tasted of old chip fat . Veg appeared microwaved and was bland and overcooked. Other couple also were not impressed and left their food . The Drovers used to serve good home cooked food but if this is what's on offer after the takeover , we won't be back . Wish you well but you need to pull your socks up . Oh and great idea to offer a loyalty card ....8 meals there and you get a free one ...erm , think...

We booked a Sunday Lunch here as our daughter was staying nearby. Three of us had roast beef and one had pork. We followed this with fruit crumble and syrup sponges all with custard. Everything was beautifully cooked and very tasty and all at reasonable prices. We couldn't fault the food at all but one poor lady was run off her feet taking orders, serving the food and clearing tables. She did a fantastic job and kept smiling throughout. All credit to her. First time today for dinner there on way back from Ruthin. We did order chicken wings, mixed grill and pie. My steak pie was not that bad but gravy wasn’ t good… chicken wings was was ok in taste but not freshly cooked… my partner mixed grill was DISGUSTING. Stinky, smelly undercook meat gamon and steak , chicken impossible to bite.. horrible old meat. Place also need good clean including toilets.. never again🤮 . We did ask for refund for mixed grill but received only half refund- do not know why coz my partner did not eat nothing from that plate… AVOID coz you...
